This pretty much sums it up. I didn't want to limit anyone to any particular option. I myself actually chose both Console and Both because my preferrence is console but I have played games on both.

I was pretty much raised a console gamer. It started back in the early 80's with the Atari 2600, then the NES, SNES, N64, Gamecube, PSX, PS2, Wii, 360, Game Boy, GB Color, GBA SP, PSP, Genesis... I think that's all the systems I have and they're all hooked up and functional. Except the Atari. I still need to check the connections and see if I can hook it up to my current tv.

EDIT: The Wii and the Genesis aren't currently hooked up either, but that's just from laziness.

I was raised on consoles to. My family didn't really get a PC until the late 90s, and I didn't really have one all to myself until around 2002. At that point I was going to college and didn't have time to play games for a while. Since than though, my computer has been an important tool that I need for work, art and communication, but when I want to relax and have fun, the games I'm more accustomed to and the setting I'm more comfortable relaxing in is my couch, TV, and a console game. Like I said though, the lines keep getting blurred- pc's are getting easier and cheaper to make into gaming rigs, and consoles are getting more complicated. So one day I might add a gaming PC to my consoles.

Okay, I saw that there was already a both option and got confused. Thanks for the clarification.

You're right, there are advantages, but I'm referring to someone who thinks either side is perfect while the other is not. I certainly lean more towards consoles, but I see the appeal of PC games. Not enough to go out and play only console games, but I see why people like them.

    No problem.

I've played a lot of games on the PC back in the 90's. Most of them were simple games like Majong or chess or whatever but there were some really good games as well like the Star Trek: 25th Anniversary game. King's Quest comes to mind but I never really got the hang of that one. It seemed like I was always just wandering around and the character died. A lot.

I enjoy both, but since I don't own any of the current or even past gen consoles, I do most of my gaming on the PC.

My home is the PC but I'll venture onto consoles if there's something worth playing on them.

I play everything so that I don't have to worry about missing out on quality exclusives. I couldn't picture myself ever picking one or the other, they all offer something fun to play and that's what it's all about for me.

I was raised on PC staples; Doom II, Soldier of Fortune, Half Life series, Space Quest, Wolfenstein 3D, Crystal Caves, Mech Warrior 2, Battlefield 1942, Counter Strike etc, etc.

However, since I've had the opportunity to own many gaming consoles, I have also experienced that wonderful side of the fence too.

Basically I break it down that most of my FPS/3rdPS games are played on PC since I find KB+Mouse far easier to adjust to than the twin thumbsticks, brawlers and fighting games or hack 'n' slash adventure games/rpgs get the PS3; or PC with gamepad if that option is available.

But I'm PC down to my bootstrap :p

i was also raised on pc. from the days of duke nukem *the original* and commander keen. but with that said, i also had/have an atari 2600, *actually, i think i have about 5 of them.* and other consoles.

and recently i purchased ps3. generally i don't really see that much of a difference, whether i am playing it on a console or a pc. except for first person shooters. which are SO much better on a pc.

everything else, if it is available on the PC, and i want it, i'll probably buy it there, if it is NOT, then i will play it on the PS3. and maybe eventually pick up a WII-U or something. I still want to play that Wii Zelda game that came out when Wii did. and i hear that is fully backwards compatible with the WII. so i might do that at some point too.

although in some cases, like prince of persia *the original.* while it was prettier on the genesis, the actual game itself, was vastly superior on Dos. and i am sure there are games that are superior on a console too.

so in that case i will pick up which ever one i find to be the best. *or cheapest.

I've mainly been a console gamer.
I have played through some of the PC classics through the years (Space Quest, Doom, Duke Nukem 3D, Myst, etc), mainly while I was in college, but it's just too much bother (and money) to keep my PC up-to-date enough to keep up.
Now I usually just use my PC for classic console emulation.

PC is too difficult for me with getting used to the controls (like with TF universe I cant get used to the keys I have to press to become a decent player). Consoles are a lot easier to memorize when it comes to controls. Consoles FTW!

Mainly a console guy. I love my FPS, but playing that on a PC is a nightmare for me. No matter what my brain just can't adjust.

RTS though that is severely lacking on consoles so that's mainly what I play now on PC. Still limited, but that's just until I have the money to build a proper gaming PC.

Both! I'll play whatever is the most awesome.

Both, because why not play on every system available? BUT. I abandoned PC gaming for modern games, because of DRM and other stuff like Steam, etc.

Still FPS are best played with mouse and keyboard. It always feels ******ed with a gamepad.

Games where I notice a world of difference is Mass Effect 2 & 3. Especially ME2 with the high-res texture patch installed; great googly moogly!

There is supreme wisdom in this.

PC. I enjoy cheap games and not paying for multiplayer.
