By Generation: The $4 Allspark Cube

    Was asked a bit about this so here's a quick pic thread of how I built a light up Allspark from a Michael's picture cube.

    The start:

    I then printed grabbed a fold out picture of the Allspark surfaces and did some photoshopping to make it traceable:

    Then, I put it inside the cube using a 'lil adhesion spray to hold it on the inside and then sealed the cube using model glue and started carving and grinding out the pattern.

    Carving [took] about 14 hours, if I recall. The more you do [is] the better the result - just be mindful of your depth. When you feel good about it, use some Scoth Brite and smooth all the carvings so it has a solid ore kind of texture:

    Then paint, here’s a bunch of sides completed.
