Inferno/Grappel Loose Arm Fix/Modification

Warning! This mod requires precision drilling. You will have a droopy eyed armless Grappel if you don't have a very steady hand. Proceed at your own risk!

Grappel can't grapple if his arms keep falling off. Inferno can't put out fires if his limbs are laying on the ground. For some reason the bicep swivel on these (or at least both of mine) detach at the slightest tug. Well here's how to fix it.

Step 1: Using the smallest drill bit you can get, the size of a straight pin, drill clear through the arm peg EXACTLY as shown in picture #1. It helps if the arm is attached to the shoulder. Spin the arm until the gap lines up and you can fit your drill bit in. The spot you drill through is just above the little ring of plastic that acts as a catch inside the socket:

Step 2: Get a straight pin and fit it through. Clip it EXACTLY as short as you see in picture #3 with just a little metal poking out at both ends. It has to spin inside the bicep, and there isn't a lot of room:

Step 3: Using very tiny tweezers, attach the arm back and test-fit the pin, carefully lowering it through the gap in the bicep and into the plug. If you cut it the right length his arm will spin 360. If not, tap it back our or use a magnet to pull it out and clip a tiny bit more. Eventually it will spin:

Step 4: Once the pin is the right length and inserted, use a toothpick or the tip of your X-Acto knife to drip some superglue over the pin. The glue will flow around the pin and freeze it in place. Turn the arm to make sure the pin is still sitting right. Don't worry, both plastic parts are made from unpaintable/invincible plastic, so the glue won't freeze the joint up - if anything it will make it tighter:

Step 5: Enjoy your stronger, more durable Grappel/Inferno!

I actually tried superglue and then filing below the little ring around the plug to make it more pronounced, hoping it would catch better. There simply isn't enough plastic on the plug to get it sufficiently locked in place where the arm won't fall off. It's also made of unpaintable plastic which repels all nail polish, glues, etc. Spent an hour+ trying to come up with a way to get his arm to stay on until I went this direction.
