    Hi!
I have not liked Perceptor's cannon as well as some other things, so here's a quick how-to for a replacement:
    ______________________________________

    You'll need the following:

    • a cheap plastic pen
    • one (1) LED
    • two (2) small batteries (the button things)
    • some Duck-paper to combine the batteries
    • hot glue
    • a cap to cover the batteries
    • some very thin paper to prevent the LED to be turned on all the time

    Unscrew the gun from Perceptor:

Cut a cheap plastic pen, [and] take out the chrome tip ([which] will be placed in the shoulder hole):

Use some Duck-paper to combine the batteries:

Place the LED into the tip of the pen with the batteries connected:

Glue the lower part of the batteries onto the pen:

    Place cap over batteries

Use hot glue to connect the chromed tip of pen onto the pen[, and] use red to recolor the pen:

    Have fun!

To prevent the LED from the batteries being powered all time, I've used a thin piece of plastic . . . under the cover (which is from a small lighter, you don't see):
