how do I keep the paint from flaking when I transform a custom? Please make it simple i'm not a customizing professional. what in the process of painting him do i do different.

    From Bobby Lemain:

Whatever you do do not use quick dry nail polish for large areas... I learned the hard way

    From Greyryder:

Carve, file, or sand the rubbing areas down, to create clearance for the paint. Clear coat will also help. I've used Future, and it does work. It's harder than most paints you're likely to use. For problem edges, I'll smear a thin coat of super glue over it, and let it dry.

I wouldn't even think to attempt putting superglue over a large area. It's nearly impossible to get smooth, and it'll damage the paint if you work with the glue over it too much.
