    (Just for reference, here is TFW2005.COM's Resource entry for Combiner Wars Dead End: Dead End - 2015 Combiner Wars - TFW2005

    Notably, this mold is used for Combiner Wars Streetwise as well: Protectobot Streetwise - 2015 Combiner Wars - TFW2005 ~Superquad7
    )

    This is the stock transformation for the hood on the Dead End mold when transforming him into limb mode, either arm or leg:

    Its terrible right? Well I took a closer look at it after being dissatisfied with alternate transformations that mask the problem. The problem being that damned head/chest assembly that has nowhere to go and can only fold up one way, as seen here:

    So, I took a closer look, and it turns out that there is only ONE little nub in the way keeping it from folding the opposite way:

    I have already sanded it down in the photo above showing the modified version, but it’s the little nub on the back of the dark grey plate that the head is located on that attaches it to the light grey arm that the whole assembly is attached to on the figure. Just sand down this little nub and all your problems are over.

    Without this little jerk in the way, you can now fold up the hood assembly like this:

    Also, it’s shown here in full combined mode with Menasor (I have also done this mod to my Off Road, as seen as one of Menasor's legs):
