    This is a basic rundown on how to remove the red painted chrome from Generations Leader Class Jetfire:



    Is it red underneath that chrome?

    No, it's plenty red. It's just my personal choice.

    If I had the patience I'd paint the entire thing white as well.

    I painted it as well. I found the unpainted plastic sucked in too much light.

    Hikuro adds here that he "used that to weaken tampo print and other kinds of paint before. It left some odd gritty residue on a repaint I wanted to make and dulled over time. Guess it's just one of those things where you gotta be really careful. Otherwise that's not bad stuff!"
