That was a nice, thorough review. I feel the same way about his pricepoint, though. I like him, I can afford him and want this now so I can have the trailer and possibly not have one with any safety or paint casualities in the hasbro version, but there is really not $250 worth of toy here. Just crazy collectors like us willing to pay it. Oh well.

Awesome review man! I think I'll be waiting until the inevitable Hasbro release for him though.

Hopefully there will be a hasbro release because I can't spend 250.

Added the final follow-up vid, in which GMfan101 joins me to provide comparison discussion between this and the original MP Convoy!

Thanks for the review! The one thing where I don't think you give enough credit to MP-10 is his posability. There's a difference between amount of articuation and posability, and while MP-01 has more articulation, he has far less posability then MP-10. MP-10 you can grab and pose in all sorts of action poses easily and quickly and solidly place him back on the shelf, while MP-01 takes a lot of readjusting of all the panels around the waist, along with making sure his gun is balanced in his hand, along with the balancing act thanks to his wait and far less helpfull foot joints. I like them both, but MP-10 is one of the best and easiest Transformer figures to pose.

I haven't seen a masterpeice figure on shelves since the original, so it's a no contest to me. Hasbro's been so unreliable with the MP releases. Excellent review as usual. Sold me on the fig.

I was thinking a while back "Ya know, I kinda wish MP10's feet were closer to his legs." I watch your review and voila! Had him since release too...XD Ya learn something new...

Great review, can't wait to pick this guy up with the US release.

It kind of makes me sad though that this guy is being released with his trailer stateside but Rodimus was not. I didn't really think I would miss the trailer but I hate not having anyplace to keep Rodimus' accessories when he's not using them. :-(

Yeah, lack of accessory storage is definitely a drawback to the US release.

Great review, as always. Noticed you had a step missing in vehicle mode. There are trapezoid shaped panels under his elbows that fold down and go behind the wheel well in vehicle mode, making it more solid looking and further hiding the waist.

Really an awesome figure. I have an issue with my axe where the blade comes off of the spiked ball part, making it a pain to remove from the storage compartment without it coming apart. Pretty minor complaint after MP-09 Version 1 though.
