Perhaps it's a nod to the Cobra Rattler? It mimiced the Thunderbolt, but the cannon is off-centered. (and it has a different engine configuration, and a rear gunner, but there's no doubting it was a take off on the A-10)

I never thought that they were so big

I thought that they would be the size of Classics Prime,Skyfire and Megatron

Well I'll buy it, but I'm not really happy with the paint scheme and the bot mode is off for me, I don't know what it is...I'll still buy it, it looks cool enough.

FYI the A10 cannon is off center on the real plane, just not by much as this picture shows:

http://www.airforce-technology.com/p...-10/a-105.html

the gun actually fires from approximately the 9 o clock position from the rotating barrel so the recoil is down the center line of the aircraft but the gun itself is not.

I guess this just tends to get exaggerated in toys.

Simon.

The nose cannon on a Rattler is centred.

Great review again! Adding to some others feedback above, I think always using a comparison figure from the same line (as well as the others too!) is handy. Keep churning out the plastic crack vids

A shame we didn't get to see the heart. That's one of the key selling points (imo, at least)

All in all, definitely not what I was expecting. The transformation for the most part is quite a bit better than I expected, but the cockpit canopy hanging down is unforgivable.

Actually makes me glad I'm not buying Universe this time. It's a shame, he at least looked cool. (keyword: looked)

i might buy when it goes on sale. Then sell it.

But I don't really like it. Robot mode looks like..one of those old Punch Out characters. (big top, little bottom)
