I especially liked how you showed yourself presenting it at the start. You also had sufficient lighting and a suitably neutral background. These are the things I would have done different:
Make the next one much shorter, three minutes at most. I watched this all the way to the end because I think reflector is an awesome figure and because the review was interesting in itself as a format. But if this was for, say, Energon Ironhide, I wouldn't bother watching more than half the review.
You spent too much time transforming while talking about the transformation of the figure. Much of this is self-evident since we see what you are doing, so you could have been speaking of other aspects of the figure while doing. I would personally probably have used still shots of the various transformations steps in rapid sequence, or various stills including closeups to see the engineering. This would be a lot more work though, so I suggest you talk about other things while transforming it instead if you don't feel like creating a slideshow.
I also suggest making notes for yourself for what to say in the review. Although I must say this flowed rather nicely, I have watched other reviews that got boring because the reviewer was thinking of something to say about a certain aspect, like detailing. After making some notes, you could also do some brainstorming about other things you know about the figure. Like the many bootlegs, the Japanese release, the microchange version, parts that are diecast or not, collectability, cartoon character, other incarnations and so on.
I'm just trying to add some constructive criticism here, I really do like what you're doing so far |
