Since it looks like the upcoming Clash of the Transformers Optimus might have the forearms corrected without needing to mod them I decided to seek out a mod for the regular version. I had hoped I wouldn't have to cut the figure any and it would be just a simple screw removal, but ah well. Now though, and this is my point of posting, I kinda don't want to lose the tiny screws should I want to 'reverse' the mod in future so I was wondering how it would work out to put the screws back in, but from the other side and so they don't go all the way through into the red piece and just stay in the blue part. It doesn't look like the screws would stick out too far and look silly, but I just wondered if anyone else had thought of that and might have a photo to hand of it before I decided to embark on anything. It doesn't look like it would be a problem and I might even paint the screwheads blue to help hide them a little. Otherwise I just know I'll lose the screws and so in that case would rather not do the mod at all.
