Disappointing for older audiences with the lack of paint, hollowness, and extreme simplicity, but for kids this is perfect.

I think the Optimus design they have going has a lot of potential (integrated trailer? I'll take that). If they just so happen to have voyagers in this line, and use Optimus, I will no doubt get it. Might also get this one just for the cool axe.

I don't dislike it. the trailer couldve been way better, but it looks like a fun enough figure to fidget with.

I want to like it. I don't know that I do. On the other hand, I've been impressed by the Warrior class toys so far, so it might be worth giving this one a shot.

Finally a review of this guy!:D

    I'm a little disappointed, he's tiny!
I like the design of the character and I love the fact his trailer is integrated in both modes, but I'm not a fan of his feet sticking out in the back.
His legs are too obvious in vehicle mode.
Love the axe weapon, it's awesome!

    Great review, man!:)

Just as a note this isn't my review. I'm just a fan of his reviews and was pumped to see he did the RiD Optimus. I have the nemesis prime preordered so it's nice to see a review of the mold.

Yummy, I think this figure has kibble in all the right places.

I'm drooling over those arms don't judge.

is there any weapon storage on robot mode? Could you use the hole in the axe to hang it from the pegs on the back of the shoulder pads?

you know, he might be a poor prime, but I think he'd be a cool Shockwave, with some modification and purple...

That's the exact same thought I had.
I can't wait to find this guy in a store.
I do need a link though since the video isn't coming up.

The axe can peg onto that peg on the shoulders, but it's not really in the back, it's more off to the side so it looks awkward.

well thats disappointing, but as long as its functional I guess. Thanks for the review, I still want this. seems like a good figure to mindlessly mess with while watching tv or whatever.

It's a neat design, Peaugh's arm mod looks super-simple to do, and I like having another deluxe Prime. I just wish his legs actually....transformed at all, y'know?

I'm not really interested in the PRiD aesthetic, but this Optimus looks pretty cool. I'd love to see a Classics/Generations-style (Leader class) Optimus or Rodimus using a similar design. If we can't get separate trailers, ones that don't detach might still be fine if they make the robot seem bigger.
