Considering the game was rushed of course it wasn't going to be as good as WFC or FOC. However if they are given all the time they need they can make a decent game. But it's likely High Moon could be making the next game since they're working on a secret project that will be announced this fall.
This game company has NEVER made a good game. The company that made ROTDS has done nothing but ports and the occasional horrible movie tie in. They did Hulk and Over the Hedge and Sharktale - all of which were cheap cash-ins. ROTDS was a cash-in on AOE, nothing more. They have a track record of original games being garbage and that's it. They can do ports well though, for what it's worth. lol
Yes ROTDS is a cheap cash-in that was rushed. Most of their games are movie games that are cheap cash-ins. But if they were given enough time to make a transformers game that isn't a cash-in they could do a decent job. Maybe it won't be great but it can be decent
Judging by WHAT? The team that did it has put out nothing but bad games. If their entire track record doesn't even have ONE good game, how can you expect them to be decent just with enough time? Maybe if they had a quality title here or there sure, but with a history of bad games there's no benefit of the doubt.
