Actually, it was the yellow police hat that replaced it.

 

Man these challenges are so unbalanced. With the current one for the golems I'm fighting maybe 2-3 a stage and are very easy to kill where the other challengers is get anywhere from 5-8 and a hard to kill.

 

I'm finding that Glasssor is generally the best Energonicon to have for these things. Especially with today's goal of walking towers.

getting 50 points now every time, maybe a bit less sometimes.. i see 2 robots every round whats up with that.

 

I find it really difficult to kill the Sharkticon piggies when the game loads, like, 12 of the Tower things that are hard to destroy. They seem to have been buffed for the challenge, so it's better to just avoid them instead of destroying them.

 

yeah the challenges are very unbalanced. most of the time right now the stages maybe have 3 sharktipigs and like 10 golems, its a bitch.

 

just did the new ios update and now i cant even access the event. got they suck with updates.

 

Try closing the program & restarting. That happened briefly to me as well, but it resolved itself quick enough.

 

all fixed. i think with this event lockdown can be one of the strongest. i have him at level 9 right now with 20% damage gun on back, 10% damage hook and energon cube with explosive rounds.

 

Sooo.. energon cube for explosive rounds, OR 20% Larger clips? You can only have one or the other.. explosive rounds seems better, but is usually a LOT cheaper to buy? Any advice?

 

I went with the ammo clips, since I'd got Acid rounds from Squawk Talk. Plus, I'm pretty sure I'm getting the explosive rounds for Energon Lockdown (either that, or the hook for regular LD).

 

All suited up. Even at only level 9 with all this he just annihilates everything.

In the event so far Ive managed to unlock:
The eye thing (+10% defence)
The back gun (+20% damage)
SquawkTalk (acid rounds)

Energon clips (+20% clips size)
Energon energon cube (explosions!)


I should have 3000 tokens to spend by days end too, (already have 1510) if i get first again that is. So will get the hook for +10% damage,.. and im starting to lean toward the energon cube for the explosions, rather than the clips, because +30% damage on explosive acid rounds?! ..::BOOM::.. and consider getting the clips as well.

If i dont get first place i'll get the headphines for +5% damage for energon lockdown, i may even get it anyway and waste 500 tokens

 

I feel stupid. I missed the first four days of the competition, and will be lucky to get even a couple of items. Still, it could be worse - missing out on accessories is preferable to missing out on exclusive characters. Ce la vie.

 

Hey guys! I have been able to buy Lockdown Pig his Cannon!

 

I have 4000 tokens to spend, and I already have Lockdown's hook. What else should I get? The cannon for sure. Squawktalk would finish it off, but is that the best bet? Energon cube instead, maybe?

 

I already had the headphones and now during the event I managed to get all other accessories except for the baseball cap. Nice to have all the exclusive accessories. I had 160 tokens to spare which I spent on coins.

Funny that you can combine the larger ammo clips with the energon cube for Energon Lockdown, but you cannot combine them for the normal Lockdown. I have chosen to equip him with the energon cube for now, but I will compare it with the larger ammo clips too, to see which works better for me.

 

I managed to get everything but the hat which i felt was pointless as you cant use it AND the headphones... so yey!

 

I've been away from the game for a while. Loaded it back to see many changes, but none of these competitions I see being mentioned. What's the story with this? Is it a way to get items without spending a fortune on crystals?

 

The events run a limited time, say a week or two, and then disappear again. Thus far one event has returned once, but the others have not. I have not spent a penny on this game thus far and the only things that I have missed, but which both costed money, were Nemesis Prime and Hot Rod. As for crystals, you can get hundreds by doing missions and exchanging other materials for example, so you can save some crystals between events if you want. I mostly start events with 400 to 500 crystals in hand, of which I sometimes spent three quarters or so.
