I honestly don't know how to play this event now. I dropped more over night than I ever had before, but I don't want to burn cubes to get back to where I was since we still have 6 days and 8 hours left. Do I let myself keep falling and hope I get enough help requests later to get back up, or do I burn and stay up now and pray I don't run out of cubes later?

 

My 300 pull was a non-episode shockwave, and a Bumblebee alt. (I think it was a T4BB, but in retrospect I'm not sure as I have both the T3 and T4 alts in my base)

I thought the T3 shockwave should at least be a X2, but no....just useless garbage. The notion of paying a total of 13 bucks, for only two random episode cards and other crap is silly. So from now on, I'm spending 1 dollar each event. Take my chance and know I'll just have a half card that will only help me this event. At least it's only a dollar.

As for the people who spend $50 and more...I just don't get it. We all acknowledge is a terrible game. Even calling it a game is a bit of stretch. For people who spend hundreds!?!?! Wouldn't XBOX or PS3 be more entertaining places to spend that much cash?

 

Can anybody specify the terms of a "dungeon crawl" event in Hellfire?

It seems that "Soundwave's Revenge" event will look quite similar... there are three difficulty levels and three "miniboss waves" for each faction.

 

Like how many licks does it take to get to the center of a tootsie pop, we may never know why they spend so much. Need Dr. Drew to come help us figure it out.

 

I recently started my first job helping my dad on the weekends at his mechanic shop. I make about $75 for a few hours of work. Got no bills and all the PS3 games I want...And there is STILL no way I would spend $50+ on this game. $10 MAX, but most likely not even that much. The game is good to me, but I'm just a recreational player. I don't even know why everyone thinks it's a crap game? Of course I'm never even close to competing for top spot so the rewards mean little to me.

My alt account pulled T4 Bumblebee bot and T4 Grimlock bot on the same bridge pull, never pulled two T4's at once. That MTM Bumblebee is actually going to help that poor deck a little, not to mention T4 Grimmy might boost it enough to overcome the faction affinity.

See, the the reason I keep saying that this just doesn't add up is because we've been down this path before. We've gone through events where the best you got was $30 for a guaranteed 5X half. We've been through events where weapons weren't guaranteed. We've seen the bridge prices creep down and offer more in return, so the assumption is that the $60 gamble just wasn't a good sell. That's why going back to spending a lot for the promise of very little just seems strange. Maybe the assumption that the changes were made in response to sales numbers isn't accurate, but there aren't many other explanations for it. It seems like a they're testing other approaches to this, but this just doesn't seem like it would have ever been a good idea. I'm one of the ones betting that it will change, although it really won't hurt my feelings if it doesn't and I play casual for the rest of my life.

 

Also just logged on ye ol ipad to waste some cubes and saw a level 4 slug/slag with 9 people on it and at 80k hp.

Interesting to see such swarms on a boss already, didn't look at the log of course since I wanted to snipe it and forgot.

 

I wonder if I should just spend $10 on this game and not spend any more forever. Also, this event is kinda fked up since early stage bosses are kinda insanely hard especially for someone like me having a deck power of only 6.6k. For some reason I'm dealing low damage

 

This is the event that will cull the weak from the strong. Those that suffer through this one will be fairly hardcore. Casuals need not apply for this event...

Kinda reminds me of Fatal Furies right after iOS dropped, I nearly quit halfway through that event. So frustrating trying to compete with no deck and no power cards.

Player involvement will drop because of this events difficulty, and of course, the crappy bridge...

I bought FOC Grim and he's great. Some issues like his legs and dino mode, but bot mode looks awesome.

 

Watch, Prime will come out 2 days left in the event and everyone'll go apeshit and top 100 will be mayhem.

 

Damn it Maqbaq, I now have to hate you. I was going to quit after this event but now I have to save my shit and go crazy since I am a Soundwave fanatic. Still won't spend no cash fuck that but my bank of cubes will be decent.

 

I see swarms of ppl doing 40k on a lvl 5 Slug. I don't know how they'll make it with another 6 days, lol.

Careful what you post about "Soundwave's Revenge" somebody will post it on Facebook and start a protest that the game is glitched because they haven't seen it yet.

All R6 weapons come with the Wallet Buster ability.
