I'm done. I quit. I've wasted my god knows how many cubes for ONE TARN! No one on my team helped a little. I'm on 600 for the leaderboard and I think I should just cheat my cubes into getting top 100 without winning, but NOPE! NO MORE CUBES. Now Mobage wants to reach down into my credit card to get more cubes, but they're not getting squat.

I was wondering how the hell I got 125 Battle Cubes as a reward... But now I know.

Would have preferred a free day win as with the previous team event since my team lost. And as with the previous event, I couldn't make the points threshold and now this event I figured no way in hell I'd make it even with double the deck power since the boss strengths were unreal.

Perhaps day 2 will turn out better. I was hoping to at least, 1 cube a bunch of stuff in the beginning to gain some resources but that didn't happen. Got team MVP for scanning/finding bosses though so I guess that is something.

 

The Team event is bad for resources, unless your team is combo-ing enough to defeat bosses easily.
This time they've made it quite tough to actually get the boss defeat, hence no medals.

And congrats! I got MVP Bosses Found too! Which is laughable considering I only used my free energon, AND my team still won! lol

Well if you can 1 cube bosses in the beginning a side from trophies you'd gain first strike and finisher. Getting both a small energon refill and a battle cube. Which you could either save as inventory or continue to play without wasting resources you've already saved. That is what I was referring too...

But considering bosses were unbeatable. You'd lose the first strike rewards and no one would gain the finisher etc. So while it wouldn't be a lot of resources, it would be some at least.

I as well only used free energon and free cubes etc... No way I was wasting inventoried resources.

 

That segment of play only lasts 5 minutes or less in TvT events. So it doesn't really apply. Raid events are the time that goes into effect. Then, you can spend the entire first 24 hours (at least) 1-cubing bosses and farming resources.

 

um....that segment of play NEVER happened in this event. Even the L1 Kaon required more than 3 cubes for most players. Mobage is doing a GREAT job of killing this game. I ONLY play on my freefills and am not wasting resources for a LOW LEVEL boss I cannot defeat.

 

Correct. the rules of survival in this game are radically changing and not for the better.

I'm seeing a lot of both new players and long term players increasingly disenchanted with this game and how DeNA has chosen to run it. Lots of talks of people abandoning it...especially on fan sites dedicated to TF: Legends, like United.com

 

Last event was meh and I've been playing Tactics a lot so I've kind of abandoned this one until the next raid event where I can farm more resources.

 

I wouldn't know because I keep missing the beginning of each day this time. This game is less and less on my mind, and I hate the TvT events to begin with. So I show up around the middle of the day, check to see that they've put me on another loser team with zero chance of going the distance (check), then use my free cubes to make the daily minimum, just in case the other team is somehow worse. Then check out until tomorrow.

But either way, my point to that guy is that TvT events are not for farming. They never have been. If you can farm a few in the first few minutes, great. If you log into the event 3 minutes after the day starts, you're already too late to get anything. If you're saying we now don't even get that 3 minutes, that is worse, but it doesn't change my point -- it reinforces it.

 

Because of the bosses being on steroids I've found it easier to keep the daily scores fairly low to avoid being matched against stronger teams. Only used 700 cubes so far and I'm still 400th with 2 day wins.

 

Yeah, that's been the inadvertent side effect. 3 wins so far thanks only to super-weak match-ups. No one on either side has broken 1mil points on any of the 3 days so far, which is crazy. I can't imagine that's going to last all 6 days, though.

 

I've lost every day so far, however this last one was ever so close

 

Keeping the score low didnt seem to be a priority for the team i was on, finished the day with 75 million points, and we still lost.

and of those 75 millions, 74 were from 1 person.

 

I got lucky and on was a winning team yesterday. Hopefully we can pull off another today. Also nice to see they updated the build notes to include point threshold requirements for each day.

 

well my team for the day finished on 107626.

just over 70 thousand points came from one player: Me.

I couldn't kill a single boss by myself but i scanned like crazy finding energon and bosses.

in the end only four people on my team, including me actually contributed and played at all.

but guess what?

We Won!

the other team just gave up at around 30k.

 

Do you mean 7 hundred thousand? 70 thousand is nothing.

 

I know it's nothing, thats the point.

I Have a weak deck that i just boosted to 61k with the Misfire MTM card and since i only started in january i have a pittance in the way of resources. but through the free battle cubes and what little battle cubes i had I managed to get 70 thousand points on the board and ridiculously my team still won.

I'm thinking the bosses on steroids has chased away a lot of players.

 

True dat.
Although when it comes to TvT event, Anything chases players away. Just look at all the deadbeats on any team.
Even the best teams I've lucked out on have had a minimum 4 players with score 0; the fools couldn't even bother using their free Energon or bc's.

 

yeah, only four players in my team contributed, I guess some of them signed up and then forgot about it.
