    Let's dedicate this thread to keeping track of who is confirmed to appear in this game. I'll update it at least once a day should any new info be brought to my attention. Please do post any characters that I'm missing.

    Should you inform me of any characters that I'm missing, please let me know whether the character is playable or not.

    shockwave, ironhide, ratchet, perceptor, slug (slag), snarl, sludge, swoop, soundwave, wheeljack, sideswipe, starscream, and bumblebee. snarl, sludge, sideswipe, perceptor, wheeljack, and metroplex aren't playable in campaign. not sure about the aerial bots, warpath, skywarp, jetfire, and thundercracker.

    eehhhh...i think they're just unconfirmed. but it doesn't look like they'll be playable. unless of course they're a surprise HMS is keeping secret.

    Wasn't there a video of Optimus helping Ratchet in a sick bay-type setting, preparing the room for Silverbolt, who had lost a lot of Energon? I think this was shown during Gamer Informers media blitz. I thought High Moon Studios was hinting at the demise of characters that weren't originally part of the G1 story from the beginning like Aerialbots, Stunticons and of course Bruticus too.     well there was the X-play trailer and the woman said the full character roster has yet to be released. so who knows if we can play as perceptor or wheeljack? and that thing with silverbolt sounds very interesting

    Playable characters so far are:

    Bruticus
    Vortex
    Optimus
    Jazz
    Cliffjumper
    Bumblebee
    Starscream
    Grimlock
    Megatron (unconfirmed, but you can guarantee he'll be in there).

    Other than that, expect a lot of namedrops/cameos.

    Warpath'll probably appear, since he is mentioned in the scene making video on GameInformer. You can see Optimus's speech text say "Ratchet, have Warpath ready a response team and meet me in the armory."

    Im guessing starscream will be playable as we have got alot of pictures of starscream attacking people

    We have definate confirmation of Sharpshot (Shrapnel) and Warpath.

    First that "woman " is Morgan Webb. She is the most awesome person to review your games( while being hot ). 2nd, yes that was from a gameinformer inside video, so that's obvislouly going to be in the game.

    We also know that Perceptor and Wheeljack are in. From what we've seen so far, Perceptor plays a role in the story. As for Wheeljack, Sol_Fury's preview of the game states that he's clearly in multiplayer. I'm just proud to hear that Warpath is returning as I genuinely enjoyed him and Air Raid in WFC.

    Not a problem. I'm totally with you on Warpath. He was always one of my faverite characters from the cartoon when I was a kid. Now lets keep our fingers crossed for Kup, Hot Rod, & Ultra Magnus.

    Sorry if I've revived a thread that should be too far gone, but Sideswipe is also in there in the "Scene Making" video that features Ratchet. You can see him standing in the background out on that console that extends outwards over the pit area.
