Universe is for the states, online is for Other countries.

It is just the asian version of Universe as far as I can tell. There have been transformation videos on youtube for a while now.

I just did a quick search and am not the least bit surprised that this is a Chinese game.

 

WHAT THE HELL is that? Is that FOR REAL?  

 

I remember seeing those TF Online videos years ago and the only reason I was interested was because it was a Transformers MMO. I even tried out Age of Armor because it has customizable Transforming mechs, but that game was very mediocre.

TF Online never struck me as a Transformers game simply because of the style, it looks like a generic anime game.

And this... this sounds like a horrible setting. But if you can go to other planets that would be pretty cool.

Is this really the official game, or something with the same name?

 

No. The one in the first post is the official game. That's just a Chinese knock off.

 

They all transform into robot mode while flipping over but not the other way around... weird.

 

Why not have two good Transfomers game?

 

If this game is somewhere between $0.00 and $8.00 I might consider it.

 

You know, I'm having a HARD time believing that the game we saw for US release (TF Universe) will in fact be browser based. It's graphics looked too advanced for a browser game. Something tells me that TF:O and TF:U will have a lot more in common than we'd think. As in, they may actually be the same game, but be like most games where the Chinese version has a completely different name and developer than the US release, but they all have essentially the same content...
