Megatron's and some other TF's design is too bay-ish, but it probably inevitably, because games are first of all for new generation. Young people know TF mostly from movie, not from the old series. They need characters looks like ones from familiar franchises - Movie, Animated.
Unfortunately, this game, as well as new IDW comics, confirms again, that Hasbro start the process of gradually replacing classic TF designs to bay-ish.
But here TFs looks not very bay-ish (except Megatron), and have normal faces, so for oldschoolers like me this game must not so bad. I'm even glad, and start waiting its release. I long wanted the new game with classic (or even partially classic) TF. A plenty of sharp triangles in TFs and game interiors even is attractive, if trying to not associate this with that ugly bayformers (sorry bayfans, but I can't able to speak about them in another way).

Exciting question: what if this game is the announcement of new series and its characters?! Time will tell...
Frankly, I become stronger assured, that TF in a new TV series will be bay-ish or even pure bayformers, probably mixed with Animated. Bleh, but it's apparently imminent.  

 

Shockwave should be in this.

And I hope this isn't something that gets F'ed up.
Shockwave is generally in charge Cybertron, or even if Meggy's around he should be the highest ranking Decepticon there.

Also, why would anyone wish for this game to come to the Wii? ROTF on the Wii was miserable. I bought it as a Chinese bootleg for about $0.70 and I consider myself to have been ripped off. I could've shat in my shoe and had more fun with that than ROTF on Wii. No thank you, I will play this new game on the 360.

 

They should have just done the War Within series and consulted Don on the style.

I always wanted to hear Transformation sounds that are actually based on real machine parts. I remember Jazz sounding that way a bit in TF 2007.

 

Hmm I think I'll wait and see until a bit more comes out about it, looks like a decent enough idea anyway.

 

ROTF was a terrific game, and I hope this new TF game will be even better. Activision hasn't been doing too well in terms of game quality lately, but I hope this will be the exception.
