not really true, if you port a game from ps3(512mb ram) to ps4(8gb ram, x16 more ram) and there are no upgrades that's a failed port, every game has scalable graphical setting, if there are really no improvements in the game(like other Activision ports Marvel/Deadpool/Prototype) then that means that they really couldn't make the effort to make like 10 clicks while they were porting an entire game to another platform, i'm just so sick of TF getting the short stick in everything, we had 2 good games, we're getting only one, they couldn't even make the effort to port them both like MARVEL ULT. 1 and 2 or Prototype 1 and 2, and we get literally the same version, why bother then? might as well play it on the ps3 or on my pc 1080p/60fps, i don't get it, why not give WfC & FoC to the remains of HighMoon at Activison and let them make a badass collection with a lot of upgrades, look at the Metro Redux collection, both games upgraded to 1080p/60fps higher graphical settings in everything, they went back to the old game and updated the UI they upgraded everything, if those two games made from some russian novels got that good of a treatment why can't the best two TF games in history have it the same? they are Activision, they can pay anyone anything, they have money to throw on dumb mobile games but they can't make justice to the only 2 good games that they have, man i hate Activision so much, why do they get to have the TF game license while Batman gets RockSteady/WB, and Start Wars gets Dice/EA ughhhhh, now even Spider-man escaped the Activision corporate bullshit and it is in Insomniac/Sony's hands now, only TF remains trapped in that hell

 

I suppose it's hasbro a fair for getting into an exclusive deal with activision. I'd certainly be interested in seeing other publishers and developers get a REAL crack at the license. Instead we just get lame mobile games (if we even get anything)

 

I think FoC multiplayer may have been well below 30fps in some cases. If you had 6 people all throwing CrCs at the same time then the game damn near became a Motion Comic.

DO wish Fall of Cybertron was getting a release, too, tho. Id re-buy the pair, for sure.

 

Remind me why this couldn't just be a BC port like WFC? Why do I need to buy it all over again on my Xbox One when it includes no improvements whatsoever? Do my stats/progress carry over?

I'm not buying the game over again. Especially for such a price.

 

WFC doesn't have a BC port.

 

No major updates that I noticed. DLC is included. Multiplayer works and is just as fun. This is an entirely different game as far as consoles are concerned so no, nothing, including achievements, carry over. Don't like the price? Understandable but it is what it is. I want more in this franchise so I voted with my wallet.

 

Because then they couldn't charge you for it.

 

PS4 servers are up and running! It's glorious to have this frantic MP experience back!!!!

Of course. I've been playing for hours with no issue at all.

 

I will be downloading and playing this tonight on my Xbox One-S

 

Now that day two is here....I've been finding fuller and fuller matches, and quicker.

Having said that, they all appear to be in Team Death Match mode.

 

Okay, that gives me hope. I'll download it soon enough.
