We finished in the 21 crystal tier. I got all 2* but enough 3* shards to finish off a crystal - and pulled Grimlock. That's a win for me.

 

Got a 4* from my 16th crystal.

Makes up for getting nothing but 2*s for Hotspot.

I didn't cry or moan when I didn't get anything from Hot spot.

I put in 24k that event, and 22k this event.

People who moan a lot need to realize that it's all about luck. If you don't want to be disappointed, then stop spending so much money on the game.

 

Picked up a 2* and a 3* Gnaw from this event. Nineteen duplicate 2* pulls though. Really wish they would look into the high bot duplication pull in this game. Anyway, with the shards I got from the dupe pulls I got enough 3* shards to pull a 3* Powerglide. So, all in all, this event was pretty decent, even if it was yet ANOTHER leaderboard event. Hope at some point they are going to start investing all the money they must be pulling down from the leaderboards into new features for the game.

 

21x2* for me. Was hoping for at least a 3*. Ah well.

 

This seems to jive with the numbers in the spreadsheet posted below. @ level 8, Silverbolt runs 18.9 seconds worth of damage. The spreadsheet says he does DPS (360) + 1020 damage over that time. 1020/18.9 = ~54, 360 * .15 = 54. So it looks like the value comes out to DPS + .15*DPS*Time. I didn't even know about this spreadsheet until this morning, so this is 2 independent sources arriving at the same conclusion. Can't give you a better answer than that about it being "correct".

 

Anyone know how the combiners work? I see the option is in the shuttle now.

 

I don't see anything in my game, but I've read some posts where this content isn't fully live yet.

 

My alliance got 7 Gnaw crystals. I got a 3 star and six 2's. Not bad.

 

Are you saying SB highest damage output is 1380?

I honestly don't mind if all the 3* and 4* Gnaws just happened to randomly end up with lower scoring alliances. That's chance. That's the game.

But even taking "chance" into consideration, it seems that the drop rate for the 3* Gnaw was way lower than that of premium crystals, and that's a problem.

Anyway, we ended up with 30 crystals. I got nothing but 2* dupes. We've reported 2 4* so far (which is in line with the Hotspot event), but only about 10 3*, which is waaaaaaaay under the pull rate from the Hotspot event.

I guess this is why they gave out so many damn Gnaw battle buffs.

 

Better than Primus Command who got 4000 crystals. Only 5 people pulled 7 4*s. Two were dupes.

So their success rate was 0.00175%. What's the point of fighting so hard to be top of the leaderboard if all you get is crap.

 

Hey, Nawoo. That blows. I scored #2 in our alliance and stayed up til 6am to keep our spot. I definitely feel their pain to some degree.

So much worse that 2 of their 4*s were dupes, though. Agh!

Anyway, I was saving a ton of premiums, but got pissed after opening all those 2* Gnaws, and started opening them too. At least I pulled a 4* Prowl and Silverbolt from those.

 

Given the stats on the spreadsheet, yes.

A level 60 4* (impossible atm) w/ level 10 ability maxes out at ~2336 damage given the calculations present.
A level 50 4* w/ Level 10 (Hah!) ability will do ~1456 damage
A level 50 4* w/ Level 8 ability (Spreadsheet) will do ~1380 damage
A level 50 4* w/ Level 5 (More likely) ability will do ~1267 damage

(Damage values are accurate to within single digit rounding errors.)

He's not a damage beast, but given that he also disables for a pretty substantial length of time, he's actually become one of my staple bots. But then, I also have the 4* version. His 2* version is actually really powerful, though, because of that long-lasting disable. One of the 2* bots that actually might be worth putting on a B or C team.

Shame, I thought his damage would have gotten a bit higher by the time he was LVL 50, ability 8. Oh well, range and freeze should still be helpful in Zone 12.

 

Well, also remember, his ability is CHEAP, and lasts a while. 50/4*/5 will 2 shot a mortar or missile launcher, while keeping it disabled the entire time, for only 8 points. Skydive will do it in 1 shot for only 6 points, but you'll be taking the damage the entire time. Or that's ~15 seconds to close in on two targets and take it out with a 3* bots instead.

 

In my alliance we got 7 crystals and sounds like we had just as many 3* as those near the top. For me all 2* dups... This event could have been to help out the little guys. With that said, if there is anyone who scored out of the top 300 and looking to move into a growing Bot alliance, PM me. We are putting together a competitive alliance that improves every weekend!

 

Has anyone looked at the TEW Facebook page today? Lots of players are pissed off about the high bot duplication rate from this last event. Interesting how some people don't get mad about this sort of thing until it happens to them.

 

Combiners feature has made it to beta. Looks pretty cool.

 

Any idea how they work? Do you have to have all the base bots?
