And now The Terrorcons! Read to uncover their vicious, vile powers that synchronize! :D

    Blot: Terrorcon :Role: Support

Blot is not as bad as he looks-he's actually worse. This bizarre Decepticon warrior is a Terrorcon combiner, and like all his creepy brethren- something went wrong during his creation, and as a result, he is a lubricant leaking horror. Like all combiners, Blot makes for great base defense. Using his passive, players can build a sticky moat of lubricant around a waypoint to ward off scouts and mess up their escape plans- if they dare even face a team of combiners. Blot is effective at breaching enemy defenses and making a mess of their waypoint defense with his combustable corrosive slime- as enemy turrets and defensive structures are fixed and cannot avoid the nasty concoction. While he is well armored and suited for combat, heroric Autobot warriors can take down a solo Blot with relative ease- as he is still a support class. As with all Horrorcons, he is a great solo combatant but needs his team to take full advantage of his skills.

Cutthroat: Terrorcon Shock Trooper Role: Support

Cutthroat is a vicious carnivore of Cybertronian life forms. Cutthroat is also effective at breaching enemy defenses, and his ability to heal himself makes quick and hit assaults easy for this master of mayhem. He can camp outside enemy bases for sustained peroids as long as the bodies pile up. Cutthroat relies on his fellow Terrorcons to take full advantage of his strange and powerful Magnetizer Beam Rifle. When paired with any tank or warrior, his brazen brutal buzzard-like Decepticon terrorizes the battlefield. He can quickly pounce on fast fleeing scouts and cripple them before tearing them apart! Though he is classified as a support, he is also mobile and functions well as a scout- just with limited range in comparison to other scout class Cybertronians as he lacks a powerful utility Ultimate Ability slot that most scouts possess.

    Rippersnapper: Terrorcon Role: Scout

Rippersnapper is easily one of the most vile Terrorcons, if you're a Bumblebee sized Autobot. He loves to terrorize smaller Cybertronian life forms, however his tendency to run from fights with warriors and tanks makes him detested by his fellow Decepticons, but the Horrorcons understand his methods. Cyclone Gun and Ground To Air missiles sync and allow him to deliever massive damage to any pathetic little Autobot scouts he traps. Rippersnapper players would do best to avoid Optimus Prime, Iron Hide, Grimlock and Skyfire, and use his terrible talents to maim and murder the likes of Beachbomber, Huffer, and Gears- they are best kept protected from his killer when he is present on the map.

    177545_Terrorcons_Sinnertwin_Profile.jpg

    Sinnertwin: Horrorcon Role: Warrior

Sinnertwin is probably as close to Slag's firepower as the Decepticons get- and while not nearly as armored or powerful as his Dinobot nemesis, he is every bit as fierce! Use Dual Flamethrower to melt enemies, and impregnate annoying Autobot tanks with Armor Piercing Grenades- sending them back to their allies after an intense battle as a walking time bomb! Ofcourse, as with all combiners, this two headed beasts real power comes in the form of the city stomping Abominus! Sinnertwin is pure evil!

    Hun-Grrr: Terrorcon: Role: Tank

Monstrous and well armored, Hun-Grr is a fearsome combiner tank, with a great toolkit for solo fighting. His unique passive allows him to blast his enemies in two different directions at the same time, and his stun can set an enemy up for a nasty attack, and his ability to recover health more quickly than others in the battlefield makes him very sturdy, however like all combiners he works best when teamed with his fellow gestalts to utilize his Ultimate! His ferocity and power give even the mighty Grimlock pause- and he is the undisputed leader of The Terrorcons!

The Terrorcons are a balanced team with quality tanking and utility abilities, however as Abominus they lack some of the straight forward firepower of other combiners such as Superion and Computron. Abominus possess stamina and durability, and is great for defending a base against the most well timed assaults.

AIR RAID: Arielbots : Air Combat Expert: Role Warrior

Air Raid is a powerful warrior that benefits his fellow Arielbots by reducing enemy armor with his Vulcan cannon and strange Torque Rifle. His passive ability grants a buff to his fellow air based Autobots, making him good for any composition. While Air Raid has a lot of damage potential, his heavy armaments makes him far less nimble that some other flying Cybertronians. When accompanied by his squadron, he is a powerful warrior, but in solo dogfights he can be taken down by much more acrobatic flying fighters. Range, critical strike and damage boost items are all optional for Air Raid.

    Silverbolt: Arielbot Leader: Role: Warrior

Silverbolt is a powerful warrior class Arielbot who leads his team into battle with speed and grace. His ability to disrupt enemy ground defenses ensures his squadron stays alot to rain down destruction onto the enemy base. Silverbolts natural ability to avoid damage while in flight gives him some sustainability, but he loses all this on land. While he is a powerful Autobot, he requires the rest of his team to be fully utilized. Though he is larger and more armored than some of his fellow Arielbots, he is still far from a tank class fighter. Damage and defense items are recommended.

    80d98edd349f44457f866d0220522088.jpg

    Skydive Support

    Slingshot Scout

    Fireflight Scout

The Arielbots are far less armored than the brutal Constructicons and the shielded Stunticons, they rely on their combined form of Superion when the enemy damage becomes too much for their individual forms. As Superion, they possess more movement, speed and firepower than either.

Some interesting ideas here. I like how Rippersnapper's cyclone gun becomes a whirlpool generator in the water, and giving members of a combiner team abilities that can sync with each other seems like a good idea. Though it might seem too grisly for Autobot-aligned characters, I could see the Dinobots (especially Grimlock) also having the ability to regenerate health by eating stuff or fallen bots (maybe just stuff since they're not supposed to be the "bad guys).

Yes, as combiners suffer the penalty of not having an individual Ultimate ability, they are heavily reliant on teamwork on planning when to Merge! and unleash the awesome power of their respective Gestalt form. I felt having the additional benefit of abilities that sync with one another only makes sense- also it sounds cool. Insecticons too have abilities that work together to compensate for the small size and lack of armor. I gave Grimlock a leadership aura (that's about as cooperative as Dinobots can be) as his might inspires them! I chose not to have the Dinobots consuming their fallen Cybertronians because they have the benefits of being so large and powerful, adding a healing factor would be unbalanced- and yes they are good dinos and don't resort to icky cannabilism like Terrorcons and other mechanical monsters. :D

Each Gestalt has a unique play style as well. Some are better at raiding bases and wiping out enemy defenses. Some are more adept at defending their respective waypoints and bases, and others are designed to engage other Gestalts. Predaking, Victorion and Menasor are the best fighters. Devastator, Computron and Abominus are more balanced for different tasks. Denfensor makes Autobot bases nigh impregnable but falters in one on one combat with another Gestalt. Pirahnacon is a nightmare on maps with liquid water, and is built solid, but doesn't have near the firepower of some of the others.

As environmental factors also play a major role in the game (Autobots travelling faster on beaten roads, amphibious bots moving faster in water then on land, ice slicks causing spin outs, weather conditions affecting flight, atmospheres on other planets hindering movement or blacking out wards/radar systems) I feel that abilities should also interact with the environment as well. That would satisfy fans that feel alt modes are an important, and often overlooked element of the game. So the game would be as much an RTS as it is a MOBA.

For example, Broadside is devastating on a map with water and other bodies of liquids and is probably an Autobot teams best aid against The Seacons and the might of Pirahnacon. An enemy team of pure air based Decepticons would have a huge advantage against Autobots with no air support- however if the map selectionw as randomized and they wound up on a planet with atmospheric modifiers- the Autobots would be at an advantage.

If a game studio even put half the thought that I have into a TF game- the results would be nothing short of awesome.

    51041_Seacons_Overbite_Profile.jpg
    OVERBITE: Seacon :Role: Warrior

Referred to as "The Undersea Terminator" Overbite is the most vicious of all his Seacon combiner team mates. Though he is not the largest Cybertronian, his design lends to becoming the perfect killing machine. He can close gaps between himself and fleeing scout class enemies, and tear them apart or knock an enemy tank completely out of position with his deadly Calculating Predator strikes from the depths! Seaspray and other scout class Autobot must use extreme caution when travelling waters infested with Seacons such as Overbite- or risk becoming a snack. While he is a very powerful solo combatant, as with all combiners- he shines as Piranacons death dealing arm. Cooldown reduction is recommended for this sinister Seacon, granting him more movement, and faster recovery time on his specialized blaster attacks.

    51039_Seacons_Snaptrap_Profile.jpg

    Snaptrap: Seacon Leader: Role: Tank

The thick armor of the menacing Snaptrap houses much destructive power. He can survive a team fight, remain as a barrier between the Autobots and his fleeing Seacons while pummeling the enemy with Sonic Shells. The Atom Smasher pummels other tanks and warriors with particles that combust and deals energy damage. Snaptrap is one of the few mammoth metallic creatures that gives the powerful Dinobot Sludge pause before engaging him in murky water, bogs and other liquid environments. Use Sonic Shells underwater and they become enemy detection devices! When operating at maximum capacity Snaptrap, is probably the most powerful tank in his class! Even with all his primal power- this beast from the depths must be cautious of the even more massive Autobot triplechanger Broadside and his armor shredding weapons! Items that give additional team aura benefits are highly recommended for any tank, especially a Combiner Leader!

    51049_Seacons_Tentakil_Profile.jpg
    Tentakil: Seacons Demolitions Role: Support

Tentakil is a vicious support that when paired with a warrior can cripple and kill more powerful solo combatants with his Electrified Tentacles. His Greasy Ink Cloud can allow him to disappear almost at will- and it aids in attacking enemy bases. While he can take on fairly powerful warriors in water where his abilities are at the full effect- on land he is slow moving and relegated to a support role as he is smaller and less armored than warriors. Use Squirt Ink to blind tanks and prevent them from hitting certain abilities and using their ranged blasters on fleeing team mates- just don't get crushed under them. Items that increase Energy based damage can be very useful on this terror.

    51043_Seacons_Nautilator_Profile.jpg

    NAUTILATOR: Seacons Role: Scout

Nautilator is a scout class Seacon that functions a little different from his always on the move playstyle. While he does not possess the sheer striking sniper shots of Bumblebee, or the fast escapes of the Insecticons, he does possess maneuverability and a constant passive that makes his map awareness mutually beneficial for his team. His Energy Coil Canon doubles as a damaging attack and an somewhat reliable utility to avoid damage. Nautilator is a highly underrated creepy bottom-crawling creature of concern for the Autobots.

    51047_Seacons_Seawing_Profile.jpg
    Seacons Demolitions Role: Scout

Seacons are masters on maps with liquid bodies of water and other substances. Seawing is a fast moving scout that owns his aquatic environments by creating waves. Waves can then be used to boost his movement. Seawing can use his strange Bio-Laser Beams to push targets on land, and Wave Maker to disrupt enemies in water, making him incredibly difficult for enemies to successfully target. Seawing is limited to water and land combat, like the other Seacons he is unable to fly, however he is adept at damaging enemy buildings and structures before escaping into the water. Use Seawing to pester well defended Autobot waypoints/bases and destroy poorly guarded areas. Increased movement speed items and energy damage boosters are recommended for maximum damage.

ULTRA MAGNUS: Autobot City Commander Role: Warrior

Ultra Magnus is a powerful warrior class Autobot warrior, rivaling Optimus Prime in courage, and Grimlock in strength. His kit comprises of impressive damage output, while granting some bonuses to his team mates- should they be trust his leadership and follow him into the fray. Ultra Magnus' passive ability gives the team movement and map presence, and is effective in preparing to raid and enemy waypoint or make a hasty retreat- leaving no solider behind. Reverse Gravity Uppercut is great for pummeling and stunning sneaky assassins so they are unable to escape. It can also do a number on powerful Decepticon warriors such as Motormaster, and even the mighty Galvatron himself. Balanced, armored, and capable of delivering impressive physical attacks, complimented by an explosive Ultimate ability, Ultra Magus is a great solo combatant, but do not underestimate the importance of your allies and their life saving heals, buffs, and shields- your enemies are terrifying. Ultra Magnus can be built as a team leader, encouraging his allies to stay close to him with additional aura buffs, or as a solo combatant.

    Mirage: Autobot Scout

Mirage is a fun and challenging Autobot to master as he possesses one of the most powerful attributes in the game- the ability to become invisible and move about the map freely. He can infiltrate enemy waypoints, pester defensive structures, assist solo warriors in combat, and generally make life Hell for Decepticons as he prioritizes low health targets. His Speed Burst also grants him bonus maneuverability and offers up a small escape tool- however he does not have any built in root/control protections so he is susceptible to traps. Mirage can be played solo, however he works as a companion Autobot, circling at the edge of battle, fading in and out, haunting Decepticons with his ghostly presence and frightening damage potential. The high energon cost of Mirage's Ultimate ability is mitigated by his passive ability, allowing players to build items to increase his Energon reserves or build higher damage items, relying solely on the unique passive for Energon recovery. While Mirage is a decent melee fighter, he is still lightly armored in comparison to some Decepticons.

I came across this tread to other day and it gave me an idea. Why wait for Hasbro to make a game like this? Globally, we are still in lockdown for the most part. And I am sure there is a decent sized group of transformers fans that are also able to program and interested in game development and 3D modeling. With this unlikely free time and interest we could create a fan project. Platforms like Unity 3D offer cross playability between pc, mobile, and browser so that would solve the issues with Universe not being playable for a lot of people. Also, the Earth Wars character models are available online and could be used in the game. This would be an interesting project to see produced.

    Hahahahaha,
good comment I've read today :thumb .

I've actually also share the same dream and passion you for a TF game thats an MMO with RPG elements.
But first in order for this to work you need to license characters from Hasbro and the best bet they might give you are the Evergreen designs to play around with. Personally I will ask for creative freedom on G1 Designs. Also a decent size fan group doesn't mean an MMO game will be made easily. Games like these are hard to make but are possible, but believe me when I tell you this will take at least 3-4 years with even 30 people. This doesn't include salary and etc.

Unity engine is a good engine but not for something like this Unreal 4 will be the only right option to choose.

I agree this will be an interesting project but truly if there are people in threads that know how to game develop MP games and also a person with networking knowledge is a complete must. I would love though to make a thread detailing what I would consider a path to go. Will post later here if I am able to find how to get a license but until then. We must wait.

Here is the post where I was chatting with a college student who I believe has good passion and might be able to make a TF game.
I gave him some tips but they should carry over to this post:

Well I was thinking more like an unofficial fan game that isnt monetized or anything like that, just made by people as a hobby. Getting licensing and hiring programers would definitely be a better game in the end though. I didn't consider unity limitation of map size so unreal would be alot better for the. Origin shifting makes more sense in my opinion (I'm not a programmer except basic stuff). Also one thing that I heard of since posting that was where star wars fans (I think) made a mod that added, removed, and reskinned characters; along with adding and removing maps, sound effects, missions, levels, ect... Until it was essentially a completely new game (but with the same gameplay system). This approach could be possible for the WFC games.

If you could get crowd backing you probably could approach HasTak with a prototype without having to much overhead if you were denied.
