I know this is a dumb question considering this franchise, but I'm curious to hear what everyone thinks. While I think it's inevitable I don't know how they could make toys for the characters featured in Devastation. All of them are their classic G1 selves, no redesigns or new fancy weapons to market. I'm guessing they're going to do something similar to the Universe line but more accurate to the G1 'toon.
I don't think there would be any figures for the game. Then again I could be wrong and Hasbro surprise us all.
There already are toys for it - the Generations line. A lot of the game designs are pretty much the animation models mixed with recent toys - for instance, Megatron has the tank tread kibble from the recent Leader figure, Menasor has Offroad and Blackjack, and so on.
From a more cynical point of view, I think the game is largely to advertise the Titan Devs figure since CW pretty much wrapped up in the comics before it could get to shelves. Which is fine, they need the ads for such a mammoth undertaking.
I just don't know what toys you'd expect. All of the characters have gott n toys in the past few years with some, like Wheeljack, getting whole new figures soon. Not to mention CW Optimus and Megatron. I suppose we could get air and ground vehicons but if we do they'll be rolled into whatever Generations line is happening at the time.
