I got the codes for the pre-order on my Xbox One but I have no idea where to put it in.

 

Does anyone know what the title is of the cheesy vocal track that plays at the end? Who is the vocalist?

 

From Amazon. It was under my mother's account, and I almost overlooked it as the title just said here are your promotional codes.

 

If its a PS game you just go to playstation store and go to redeem codes and type it in, steam and xbox should be similar

Is the abysmally uncooperative camera a Platinum Games staple or something?

 

Thought this camera was actually a step up from before, at least compared to Metal Gear Rising and Wonderful 101.

Loving the game so far, only beat Chapter 1.

 

Got through chapter 1, and loving the game. Lots of great little nods/references and a lot of fun game mechanics. And the boss battles are pretty creative! It's ridiculously fun to beat down Devastator using little Bumblebee.

And it helps if you've played Bayonetta; the game basically lifts that series' Witch Time mechanic wholesale. Anyway, I love the melee weapons and the way you use vehicle mode, especially in combos! So far I've unlocked four Autobots; when do you unlock the big dumb lummox what changes into a T-Rex?

 

I didn't play any other PG titles because none of them appealed to me until this one... and the sh*t-tastic camera isn't winning me over, the grading system irritates the crap out of me, and there are so many things to collect and micromanage all at once for me to be bothered with... there's no way I'm recording this tonight, I'm too tired and flustered.

 

I got mine at Gamestop and after I noticed no code on my receipt, asked where it was. I think they just printed up whatever they found under "Transformers" in their database because they then printed me up a second receipt...which not only had my skins but, for some reason, a second DLC code for....the Skywarp & Thundercracker DLC from Rise Of The Dark Spark. Good job guys.  

An hour in or so. Only complaint is...holy god, they didn't try very hard to make Starscream sound much like Chris Latta, did they?  

 

I think he does well enough. It's going to be hard to find an actor who can do that shrill voice, Latta's Starscream/Cobra Commander was pretty distinct.

Oh and my condolences on getting a RotDS code. We should forget that game ever existed.

 

This game is a lot of fun. I've primarily been playing as Optimus Prime and I'm still getting the controls down, but I'm loving it so far.

 

The control setup takes a bit of getting used to, like how dodge and transforming are mapped to RB/R1, but once you get the hang of it, it's very fluid.

 

And not to mention choosing what weapons to keep and which ones to upgrade with/sell.

is it worth 60 bucks. I have never paid full price for a TF videogame getting them on steam sale and stuff. So wondering if I just wait....

 

This game is awsome! It's the G1 game we've waited decades for! After the abomination that was Dark Spark, Devastation gives me hope that Transformer console games can be good again.

It captures the spirit of G1 so well that sometimes I forget I'm playing a game, and not an episode of the cartoon.

P.S. I'm I the only one who thinks that the battle swords look like Optimus Primal's swords?

 

Fighting 2nd round Devy with Goldfire and getting my ass kicked. Anyway i can go back and pick Nemesis Prime with the Dark Star Saber?

 

I never played Dark Spark, but man, they made a poor choice by trying to cash in on both Prime (which was ending anyway) and AoE by doing a mash-up game.

 

I got up to the Boss Fight with all 3 Insecticon's (where you have to fight Kickback, then Kickback, Bombshell and Shrapnel), who tower over even Prime and are a pain to put just one down (I must've already taken several tries at Scrapper and Hook, Long Haul and Mixmaster, and Devastator's 2nd battle, with varying degrees of me getting my ass kicked. Long Haul and Mixmaster where the hardest, until I finally hit both of them with Prime's Ultimate Attack and got both of them down). Soundwave (first battle) wasn't that bad, Megatron (3rd Prologue Battle, as Sideswipe) took some time getting the timing down. I noticed, much like Mega Man, it's all about pattern recognition, skill, and a little luck for the Boss Fights (and I haven't gotten to say, Starscream, Skywarp, Thundercracker, Menasor, Shockwave, Blitzwing. Here's hoping I don't have another Devastator fight coming up)
