    Do let us know.

At least when you unlock someone with the Ultra Sparks, they stay unlocked (and you can still scan the toys daily for more Ultra Sparks)... so that only ones that have toys re-lock if they were scanned.
It will be interesting to see if the non-toy characters have a temporary unlock as well (from the Tower).

Thanks, Oracle. :)  You confirmed my theory. It seems if you haven't unlocked Champion Characters like Ironhide, Prowl and Razorpaw, you can unlock them by winning the Tower.

Now where's that monthly event Hasbro promised? :D

And Ironhide is still mine! So unless he has a different time he goes away, looks like he's a permanent prize! YAY!

I wonder why there are multiple codes for various toys, that are even recognized by the Game app... even for toys in the same batch in the same country. Surely if they are coming from the same source (factory), then they only need the one scanning code.
So far I've collected 4 different codes for the Super Bumblebee, 3 different codes for Slipstream, Warrior Optimus & Warrior Jazz, and 2 different codes for 25 other toys. It's great for accumulating extra ultra-sparks and power-ups in each 24 hour period, but after a few weeks, it isn't even necessary, as you have enough time to permanently unlock every character, and updates are going to be a month apart which gives plenty of time to build a war-chest of Ultra Sparks to unlock the next batch as soon as they are added.
(and you end up accumulating a lot more power-ups than you ever need, unless you play the game for hours EVERY day)

Attached is a screen-shot of some RID toys that already have multiple codes to them, as an example of what I mean - you can scan all of them in a 24-hour period, as you are only prevented from scanning in the same code each day, not the same character each day.

I've been doing google-image searches for the various RID toys that I don't have, and have so far unlocked 49 of the "toys" on the App's checklist. Run a few search terms for them, or check out Jalaguy's posting here of the scanning codes he has collected so far, or the ones posted up at Ozformers from my own photos (mirrored below in this post - the image files keep getting updated, so the images below will keep changing).

You can earn yourself enough Ultra-Sparks each day from these to permanently unlock all of the game characters. It took me about a week, and then you can start building up a warchest for future additions to the Game App.

First up are the non-toy codes that only earn you Energon, and the unresponsive codes I have found so far. I have included them because they are different, and are here ready to be used if they are ever added to the Game App.

After what was asked above, an idea came to mind to help fast-track unlocking of characters... so I've done up two "warchest" collages for people who are wanting to permanently unlock all the current characters quickly, and to start building up your Ultra-Sparks ready for the next character update to the App.
Scanning a toy unlocks them for 24 hours, while Ultra-Sparks appear to unlock them permanently - so the first "warchest" collage below will give you about 500 Ultra-Sparks each day from the most valuable scanning codes, as most people won't have the time or patience to scan every toy code every day.
Since you can only earn a maximum of 999 Ultra-Sparks, the second collage earns you Energon, which you can also use to unlock characters... but I'm not sure what the maximum Energon is you can earn, as I haven't reached the limit yet.

Some of these are not my from my photos, so I don't claim ownership of the scanning codes... but I did put the time and effort into creating the collages, so they are not to be shared without my permission, or claimed to belong to anyone else.

To scan the codes, an easier alternative to covering up the codes you aren't wanting to scan, is to spend a little time to cut/copy and save each code separately as an image file in a folder, and scroll through those images as you scan each one. Give them file-names starting with the amount of Ultra-Sparks they earn, so that you can scroll through them in descending order, and earn the most Ultra-Sparks until you get bored or run out of time.
(just be aware that the Game App for me will sometimes tell you that a code has already been scanned, but the App is just remembering the last one it scanned... so change menu screen or leave the App to see if that clears the "memory" of the last code you scanned)

(This first image might be updated if more 10-spark codes are found, but with over half of the daily allowance of 999 here already, it is not a priority now.)

(This second image will be updated when I get the Third wave of Tiny Titans, and when the fourth wave is released.)

I've noticed that we can only store up to 999 Ultra Sparks only.

That's good to know.... which will unlock a fair few to start with, but if there is a big addition like the last one, it will still take a few days to get them all.
Although, I doubt there will be as big an update of characters as the one last month.
The update that happened last week only appeared to add a language and change some visual elements (like giving a number count of avatars under each character instead of a line of white bars).
It was supposed to fix some bugs as well, but I still get a bug when scanning a lot of codes at one time - it will scan a code but bring up the character I had previously scanned and as such it won't give me anything for it.

Last week at around the time when I got up to the Refinery stage (I don't play it often), another 4 games were added to the Scrapyard (game 70 to 73) - was this part of last week's update, or did they unlock because I got to the Refinery stage?

It might have been added during an update, but the extra games are unlocking for me when I get to a new section. I got to the Train-yard today, and it added another 2-3 games in each of the previous sections.

They've been there from the beginning, it's just the way you unlock them. For example, Scrapyard has games 1-9, 70-75, 80-81, 88-89 and 98-99, app has 112 in total, and I've seen numbers up to 110 or so (with several missing, because I didn't complete it then) before the first update.

I finally finished the 112 games on the App this week, and that icon appeared on mine as well... so it might just be something for a future update, or an error on the App when it can no longer have any icons on the sections that still have unplayed games.

So much for the monthly updates that Hasbro made a big deal about.
Maybe all those characters that were added a few months ago were meant to be spread out over the year, as each wave of toys was being released.
