So, I figured since this pertains to the mobile game and not necessarily the toys, it belonged here... While we all agree that Battle Masters is a huge departure from what we're used to as far as TFs go, there's something about it that interests me. Probably just how far a departure it is, both in terms of concept, and in terms of design/aesthetic (Starscream and Prowl leap to mind). Also, I found this: I'm guessing this is from the game, and that interests me even more, since it appears that there's artwork of these designs without the awkward, squat proportions. Google isn't helping me find more art like this, however, so I turn to you guys to see if any of you have a source for any art like this. Also, while I know about all the characters released as toys (Optimus, Megatron, Bumblebee, Starscream, Prowl, Barricade, Soundwave, Lockdown, and Grimlock), I saw that they had additional characters in the game itself (Ironhide was one example I saw). Who else made it into the game?
Never did I ever expect to see Starscream be the red Bumblebee repaint.... All the Battle Masters designs seem to be simple, with names slapped on based on vague connections. IE Starscream is a jet, Baricade is a car. No real connections to past characters other than name.
He's... not really. They share some similar kibble, but that's about it. And I'm aware of the fact that Battle Masters is primarily nameslaps. I'm just wondering if there's a list of all the nameslaps they used in the mobile game (preferably with visual representation).
I remember Ironhide, 3 Optimi, 2 Bumblebees, 2 Grimlocks,2 or 3 Megatrons, Knockout, Soundwave, Prowl , Barricade, Rodimus, Starscream, Lockdown, they may have added more but I deleted the app, and Ironhide was a decepticon and him, Knockout, Rodimus and Prowl don't really look anything like themselves.
Thanks, this is what I was looking for. And again, I know few of them looked like the characters we know. I just wanted to know what these versions looked like.
