I've been craving a WFC/FOC type game for the current-gen consoles. I think it's time they come out and make a new game. They are current working on Call of Duty, but once they are done I hope they leave SledgeHammer and make a new game for PS4/XBOX ONE. Is anyone else craving a new HM game??

I'd rather have something better than what High Moon has created.

I would like one more game to end the Cybertron games and leave it as a trilogy.

Same. I'd take anything they'd make. I don't care if it doesn't get good reviews.

Yeah FOC was a good cliffhanger and I think we deserve a proper ending made by real game developers. (Looking at you RotDS)

I'd rather someone else had a go at making some Transformers games.

I think we've seen all High Moon has to offer. I enjoyed the Cybertron games but I got bored of them fast and still think the ROTF game did a better job of making me feel like I was playing as an actual Transformer.

I would love for them to do a third tf game just to finish a trilogy and then for it to move onto someone else. I think it would to get a lot of inspiration from cod unfortunately, especially after working on the newest game.

As much as I like their previous games something new (maybe with the same style) would be great.

FOC has grown on me, but I still think they didn't do enough with the elements that game introduced. If they do come back, they better commit to the changes they make.

Yeah and it could play like a modified titanfall :D

Although I do like highmoons games, I remembered the type of dlc they started dropping characters (which were mostly in the game, yet paid to unlock -_- ). So I wanted high moon back, but now I don't unless they come up with something new or improved(something loot based could/would be amazing) and/or they changed their dlc type to something interesting.

Also no surprise but activision was mentioned in one of the toy fair pannels, so it could mean we may see another game in the near future, probably not to be released this year but soon. (not that we shouldn't be expecting something console game related to be announced)

Sorry I may have used the wrong term, activisions logo is seen in one of the images from the initial toy fair posts, the one with the first devastator image on the red background and info on the right, it's the second last image which has a section on digital media

This. I think High Moon's games feel a little too low-budget for me. I'd like to see what a Transformers game can offer with some real money behind it. Something that also offers more than 5v5 or 6v6 or whatever. The Transformers is a war-toy brand, so I'd love to play a game that feels like a war for a change, like the siege of Autobot City from the 1986 film. Trench warfare (cover-based combat), big armies... something like the Border Wars which happen during Prime and Megs' absence (e.g. Planetside 2 - Cybertron edition) where players fight over territory in a large persistent world map of Cybertron.

Big environments are a must. I want the jets to feel like jets... they feel slow in High Moon's games, because WFC and FOC were arena shooters. I don't want that. I want massive war battles and coordinated strikes over energon refineries, something like MAG. I want huge maps to make the most out of a jet's speed and have actual dogfighting. I want environments that actually look like a city where these characters lived instead of random mech textures everywhere. I want to take part in an assault on either Iacon or Kaon, or forcefully board an enemy shuttle. Something with a few hundred players and squads at the least.

I also don't think transformation should be a replacement for a quick-sprint/roadie run that could be used to slide into cover or quickly dash over to an opponent for melee (speaking of which, I don't like the "quick" melee in WFC/FOC; I'd much rather manually equip a melee weapon like using the lancer chainsaw in Gears of War, or like equipping a lightsabers how Arcee would in the IDW comics).

WFC and FOC felt generic in terms of controls, and although it was advertised as a Gears of War-like shooter it didn't have any of the mechanics that made games like Gears of War, Vanquish or Binary Domain stand out over more generic third-person shooters. It was also advertised as big and large in scale, but was actually quite small and claustrophobic. FOC was also stripped of half the mechanics WFC had, and "customization" was a joke in both games. I'd like more of an "Armored Core 4" approach to customization for TF.

Sorry for the disorganized ramble, it's late and I'm actually working on a pitch for this exact idea... which is a ton of work and I'm trying to fit time in between freelance gigs, but hopefully it's something I can share with you all sooner rather than later.

High Moon is done. I highly doubt they will be producing a full-blown original game ever again. They boned themselves over with Deadpool. Hard. I'm just waiting for the day when Bobby K. goes in there and just shuts them down completely.

ROTDS was a phoned-in game with the bare-minimum of time, budget, and effort put into it. They clearly don't think Transformers, as a video game franchise, is worth pouring the investment into. Despite what some people would say, WFC/FOC were not huge blockbuster successes by any means. They reportedly sold "just enough". FOC had less of a budget than WFC.

Hasbro has clearly shifted their focus towards mobile games/apps, which they are pushing HARD at the moment. I highly doubt we will see any TF console games besides cashgrab movie tie-ins anytime soon.

Meh, WFC is the only one I enjoy replaying. DOTM was decent, FOC was just... I don't like FOC.

FOC had less of a budget? That explains a lot. Anyway, I can't say I'm sad to see High Moon dying off, but I am sad that you seem to be right about Hasbro shifting focus away from console TF games. I really would like to see what another group could do.
