This thread is for all those that can help reconstruct the game for offline use. As we all know, the game is going offline Jan 31st 2015. Our goal is to archive as much as we can before they close down forever.

For all those that want to help with Transformers Universe offline mode. Make sure you can view "Hidden Files and Directories" on your PC

Here's a good guide you should follow:
    installer and instructions:
QuickSFV Installation Guide : How To Download and Install QuickSFV

    Create an .sfv instructions:
How to Use QuickSFV to Create .SFV Files

    1. Go to C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\LocalLow\Unity\WebPlayer\Cache
    2. Right click on "Transformers Universe" folder and select "Create .svf File
    3. It will create the .sfv. Takes less than a minute.
    4. Rename the file to "your TFW2005 username.sfv" so i can pm you if we need some of your files.
    5. Email your .sfv file to me at [email protected]

    P.S. Use the exe installer:
    Current version:
    qsfv236.exe - QuickSFV version 2.36 for Windows9x/NT/2000/XP/Vista/2003. (For 32-bit versions of Windows)
    qsfv236x64.exe - QuickSFV version 2.36 for 64-bit Windows XP/Vista.

Any questions feel free to ask through PM. As always thanks to all those that can help us.

Hopefully in the future we could do something like that. Either someone hosting a large private server, or LAN/server hosting functionality. Either one would be great in the future.

People over on the TFU forums have mentioned the idea of custom characters, if there are full models with no weapons/ability data, then I say we turn them into full-fledged characters.

Thanks for responding to my message on your Youtube channel, Paladin.

*Wishes he could code in Unity and help*

I wish there could be a way to perhaps make a fan made game using the models and maps so that way the game can live on in some manner despite not being supported by Hasbro anymore.

    totally do able

I got everything loading offline now, the tricky part is the scripting references. Im not very proficient at the network player level coding, maybe later we can all join forces and do an private server multiplayer manager.

I'm doing a AR model viewer with animation sequences. Basically, you place two character cards from TFLegends on your desk. You view the cards through your Smart Phone and once two character cards are in view, they battle themselves.

    More to come.

hi there you might have installed the Developmental versions ".msi" file.
(dont use the first 4 files on the list)

    Use the exe installer:
    Current version:
qsfv236.exe - QuickSFV version 2.36 for Windows9x/NT/2000/XP/Vista/2003. (For 32-bit versions of Windows) or:
    qsfv236x64.exe - QuickSFV version 2.36 for 64-bit Windows XP/Vista.

uninstall the .msi version if you did and install the exe for your 32or64bit Os.

I just edited the 1st post just in case others have the same problem.

Just wondering, but please could we get a list of unreleased characters that will be included in the offline version?

What happened to this? I miss the game so bad :c
My only consolation is that "Gigantic" Online gameplay will kinda be like this game but still dont release.

Pretty sure there's someone out there with the offline version already (or someone claiming they have it), looking through the YouTube comments there's a couple of people begging another user (who I'm pretty sure deleted his comments) for the offline version.

I'm the TFU user known as TyrellSo here, I think I have the game application somewhere in my laptop or hard drive. Not sure if it will still be compatible as I'm running a Macbook, and not Windows. (I'm pretty sure the coding is different for the 2.)

Hey i need to know do some of you guys still have all the CAB Files (files that contain the models, Sounds, Textures, and whatnot in them), i want to Archive those stuff so if people need to extract models and sounds they can do that, i only have one half but im looking to have all the asset files for them, so if you guys still have them id be happy.
