This is a reason to get excited. High Moon announced Fall of Cybertron about 3 years ago, during winter. Their last game was Deadpool, over a year and a half ago. I think this may be the sequel to Fall of Cybertron. It would also make sense, when you take into consideration the fact that High Moon didn't make Rise of the Dark Spark. I think that's because they're too busy making Fall of Cybertron's sequel.

Time to get excited.

(Also, they're definitely not talking about Advanced Warfare. I check the website every month or so and this is the first time they've updated it since Deadpool. Plus, Advanced Warfare came out on Nov. 3, that is definitely not winter...)

Fingers are crossed. I REALLY want this to be the FOC sequel in order to make up for that abomination we got last year. Not to mention, there's only one place this could go....EARTH! Or they could go to other planets, but that just wouldn't make sense to me.

I bet if they do take the fight to Earth the game will have a whole different title entirely. Possibly to separate itself from the Cybertron games as a soft reboot type of thing.

 

I'm going to try and not get my hopes up...but I really hope it's another TF game.

 

Eh, if it is Transformers, cool. If it's not, no big loss to me.

 

Well, if the games are roughly following the novels, next they will journey through space, finding different civilizations, and the quintessons before finding Earth.

 

Or if they follow what they wanted to do instead of Archer's aligned continuity, especially since they don't have a TFP to be forced to tie it all into anymore.

 

I've only just clicked on the homepage today. Where does is say they're launching a new game? I only see that they're launching their new website?

 

I hope they can back on track and deliver.

 

Correct me if I am wrong but didn't High Moon Studios have a large part in the last Call of Duty game? Think they will be pretty busy with that the coming year.

In anyway case, I hope as well on a new TF game, cause FoC was epic!

Say what you will about High Moon, but I'd rather have the next TF game in their hands rather than whoever made ROTDS.

 

Frankly, if they do, I wish for a longer game with more varied gameplay styles for other characters. That and to keep it on Cybertron as well, I'd love to see Ultra Magnus lead a team through a dead planet, as they solve the mystery to what happened to the ark, as well as defeat a new con plan in the making from Shockwave. With the game also jumping to Optimus and the ark as rumuge through their wreck a little towards earth.

 

Now pardon if I'm the only one who thinks this, but I didn't really like how in the previous game their arms became their weapons. I'd MUCH prefer if they were held in their hands like in the cartoons and/or comics. The reason for this opinion is because I would want to see the characters holding their signature weapons and this would also allow for a much more iconic-looking Megatron who is suppose to have his cannon mounted on his arm rather than it being the arm itself. Which is funny because in the trailer for FoC, Megatron DOES have his cannon mounted but in game he doesn't. As for switching arms for their weapons they should just well...switch arms, toss the weapon into their other hand and that should work just as fine. While not in use, their weapons can stay on their backs or hips or in Megatron's case, stay mounted on his arm since he can still freely use his hands. When Megatron switches his cannon to the other arm, I'm thinking something along the lines of his bringing his arms together parallel, and the cannon transfers over by sliding across. I know this may seem like I'm making a very big deal out of something minor but don't get the wrong impression. It's not like it's a deal breaker for me that would decide whether I buy the game (if it really is being made) or not. I'm just voicing my personal opinion about how the game would better represent the characters we all know and love.

Weaponry nitpicks aside, I really do hope High Moon's new game is a sequel to FoC.

 

Hopefully, High Moon is making the sequel of Fall of Cybertron. It would be nice have another transformers game, That actually's has multiplayer. Unlike Rise of the dark spark. Edge of Reality was a bit lazy. They just used, Old graphics as well designs just more detail a little. High moon please have a sequel.

 

I'd love a new "____ __ Cybertron" game. Doubt it'll happen, though.

 

I really hope can and will make a third Transformers Cybertron game. They gave us the type of Transformers games we've always hoped for.

 

If they are making a new TF game I wonder what will the premise be about? The last game ended it on an epic cliffhanger so I wonder if they're going to continue the stroy from there somehow or focus on another cast that remained on Cybertron or a bit of both that are connected to each other?
