I enjoyed DOTM despite it's flaws. I think I'd enjoy a full blown Earth based HMS game. Although they'd definitely need to revise some things from DOTM. Everyone was too stiff and slow and the Jets felt too big for the multiplayer maps. I think if all their effort went into it, and assuming they have enough effort left after being downsized, then I think it could be good.

I enjoyed DotM quite a bit. I liked that each character had their own weapons and abilities as opposed to everything being interchangeable in the Cybertron games and I honestly think Fred Tatasciore does a much better movie Megs voice than his WfC voice.

However, it's undeniably prevalent how much High Moon didn't want to make the game given it's absurdly simple stage design and laughable length.

As far as the movie games go, I've always preferred Luxoflux's take with RotF's emphasis on multiple character choices and brief replayable missions that take place in open environments.

Agreed. Hell I think he's better than Hugo Weaving in the role of Movie Megatron.

It might not be that they didn't want to make DOTM, but they had too little time to do it in. That's the problem with all movie tie in games. They have too short a development time.

I won't deny that they probably had a very tight schedule. Especially considering that they had to render detailed in-game models of the more elaborate film designs for the characters, it's just that DotM was easily the smallest experience the movie games have provided. TF07 and RotF had more ambitious and unique ideas at play and, unlike High Moon, Tt and Luxoflux didn't have a prior gameplay model to work off of.

It's definitely not a bad game (whereas TF07 is debatable in that regard), it just feels like that they had half of the work done at the outset and could have easily squeezed in a few more missions than there were.

@Autovolt 127: The man is a master of monster voices. I'm honestly not surprised he does such a good job as movie Megatron. I just wish he did that voice for WfC Megatron as well.

I would really like to see a proper earthside game that followed FOC. I was left with such a cliff hanger and for Dark Spark to fondle the idea as a follow up to that game was a disappointment. I don't know if it was meant to be a sequel but I personally don't look at it that way. Until my personal needs are met I will consider the series dead lol
