We present to you The Transformers: Headmasters, Episode 7 "The Veil of Mystery".

It picks up where previous fan dubs left off and is the first time outside of that bad infamous StarTV dub that it has ever been dubbed in English.

All constructive critiques & comments, positive or negative, are welcome. It will help us to improve with all future episodes!

    Enjoy!

OMG, this is... really well done! I got a bit of a sniff with Optimus' death (the music was used with great effect). You guys all did a fantastic job of doing the voices and makes it very enjoyable.

Thanks for doing this! I'd love to see another one when its good and ready.

OH MY GOD, this is amazing, amazing work. VERY professional-sounding and that Victor Caroli voice is spot on.

Very much looking forward to future episodes!

That was amazing! Like seriously the best thing ever.

I've never been able to get through more than a handful of Headmasters episodes, but I would love to see more of this.

Thanks for the feedback! That's a high compliment because that was the exact hope and intention with the music and dialog chosen for Optimus Prime's scene. My feeling was that we weren't going to see him again and that he deserved to get that delicate heroes treatment as we say farewell to him. :)

Thank you! The Victor Caroli narration was me and I'm very critical and picky about myself so I'm glad you liked it!

Thanks! We have episode 8 currently in mid production so you will definately being seeing more!

It may take several years but we intend on doing the whole series like this!

This episode in particular actually had a steep learning curve and had several set backs along the way. At one point my computer took a dive and it took several months before I could get the parts and fix it. We also had some casting issues where we had to re-cast some characters due to some people's availability changing, and then there was a lot of ground work that had to be done. The trailer for the project was done simaltaneously and that ate up a lot of the production time, plus we had to come up with the new voice effects and presets. That and we had to make up the recap totally from scratch along with adding the commercials and the new credits scene... all in all it was a long road for this particular episode and took close to 2 years with all the adjacent projects attached to it and all the hickups caused much delay as well, but the future episodes will go much faster with all the ground work already having been prepared. We're working out a system to make it more time efficient and keep the quality up. Our goal is to eventually get to completeing 1 episode per month once we have all the characters cast, organized, and in place. We should get in a groove and hit our stride with the next few releases.

    You're most welcome!

And that was the best effect that you delivered! I've always been afraid of watching The Headmasters series because of watching Optimus die all over again, and... the fact that you made this very sad and effective just made my first time watching even more special.

I'm hoping that when we get up to the part where Rodimus, Kup, and Blurr depart from the cast with Fortress being stationed as the new Autobot Supreme Commander will be just as sad.

I can see why you started with this ep, since there are already fan dubs of the first 6. However, those versions are crap compared to this. Will you be doing those eps after you get to the end of the series? I'd totally like to get the whole show done in this quality. Heck, get Hasbro's approval and send them off to be sold on the DVDs.

This was the best fan-dub I've seen next to Dr. Smoov's parodies. I really like whoever did the VA for Cyclonus and Scourge. Those guys are spot on. I also like the narrator, the integration of the old American G1 music, etc. Everyone involved in this project should be well pleased with themselves as THIS felt like a natural continuation of American G1.

We have some good ideas in store for just the occasion. :)

We will most definatly be going back and redubing prior episodes to add our own continuity to it. There are some ideas floating about to make it work with the rebirth series. I wish Hasbro would allow the liscense for a DVD! That would be Awesome! I would even attempt to recruit some original cast members for the fans. I think the problem is that Hasbro wants complete creative control, because one of our members had dubbed a single shot episode in hopes it could be a bonus with the Shout! Factory DVDs and before it could even be presented to them the whole concept was shot down. Supposably they were fearful of bad language popping up or something. Not that I understand that... like when I'm trying to open my 20th Movie Anniversery DVD and I hear Ultra Magnus yelling "Open! Damn it, Open!" only for me to break the case and yell "Aw sh!t what are we gonna do now!" :D

Thank you! That's exactly what we are aiming for! I'm very proud of our cast's effort for this episode, and we should get even better as we progress!

Auditions are currently open for the next episode!

First time watching TF: Headmasters (fandubbed) and I gotta say... that was great!

Didn't know Headmasters can switch heads for different powers. Again, great job!

The YouTube channel is the only place to see it for the time being. I have reserved the actual download file exclusively to cast members for 2 reasons: I don't have a file host that allows big enough files or enough bandwith, and I want the cast to have special privilages for their hard work.

THANK YOU ! I know a lot of people who has wanted to see this that didnt get the chance

THIS IS THE BEST version I have ever seen. Really shows what could/should have been done had a US release been done.

Id buy this in a second , if released on DVD
