Y'know, at times I could of sworn I heard a bit of Duke Nukem in some of those voice clips. Ever tried voicing for him? BTW, another fantastic vid by Patrick. Nobody produces quality entertainment like he does. I just wish he put out videos more often.
Yep, but I'm not the guy who voices him in the game. The only games I've worked on haven't been released and there are several awesome auditions pending on some HUGE games that I would LOVE to book.
Goddamn, I love Patrick Boivin's work; his stop motions and everything else. How are bigger studios not throwing giant sacks of cash at him and inserting him into more mainstream platforms?
Yeah but it would be good for a sound-a-like for random projects like the Optimus Prime voice. Try a few of his one liners sometime even if they're not going to be used anywhere.
HAHA! I'll do that. I've thought about doing some "Elmo Nukem" videos and putting Duke's voice to the Elmo puppet I made outta one of my kids' old toys.
Excellent. I didn't even know these things could be interactive. Great animation. Made that blocky old Geewun design figure move like a silky ninja. It can be done.
Hehe, that sounds awesome! It should be easy enough to do as it's basically like the Prime voice only much more smoother in tone and delivery.
I love the references to Bolvin's earlier work (Bumblebee killing Optimus, G1 Optimus getting kicked in his lugnuts and the moniters have clips from his other TF videos as well.) And the fact that Movie Primes finishers were G1 inspired whilst G1 Prime were Movie homages.
TMK, that's the first vid I've seen by this guy, it was Loved the fights between the two Primes and switching back and forth between the 2 was fun too!! The fighting was almost seamless, really nice work!
Great video. Kind of bummed there was no "give me your face" fatality for Bay Prime, but I still greatly enjoyed the clip.
Actually, I believe I did record a "Gimme your face" and "Kill em all!" as well as G1 Prime's death speech from the movie.
