Hello everyone I have an upcoming stop motion series and I need voice actors. Below I have a list of characters who need voices, please send all auditions to: [email protected] I have added descriptions to the characters to give you a good understanding of how they would act, you can read off those bios as your audition or include classic quotes The list may get larger as time goes on I'm still tweaking the script, but if you or anyone you know can do a good impression please tell them to consider this. Basically it is a retelling of the first episode of g1 (More then meets the eye) combined with the 1986 movie (without the death). I'm still not sure if I want to split this up into sections or just one whole movie. Autobots Optimus Prime: Not the old and wise Optimus Prime we've seen in recent years, this Younger Optimus Prime has just acquired the matrix from his old mentor Sentinel Prime and is still learning from his new mentor Ironhide but has potential to be the Prime that restores Cybertron and its once rich culture. Ironhide: He may be old but he can handle a plasma cannon like no one else. Ironhide is desperately training Optimus to be the new prime and knows that if he fails Megatron would spare no one in his quest for endless domination. Bumblebee: He may be young but He's no pushover. Bumblebee was captured when he was much younger, tortured to near death, and left near an old energon refinery. Bumblebee was then rescued by wheeljack who was at the time searching for more energon for the arc launch. Bumblebee is now inseparable from his friend wheeljack. Wheeljack: Without Wheeljacks inventions the autobots would've lost eons ago. Wheeljack doesn't want to kill anyone, but knows what must be done to restore peace to cybertron. Prowl: Some compare him to the cold and logical decepticon shockwave, but all prowl wants is justice and will go to any length to achieve it. He was chosen as the autobot military strategist because of his ability to predict decepticon attacks days before they even happen. Ultra Magnus: Swerve: mtmte swerve More to come... Decepticons Megatron: Megatrons past is shrouded in mystery. Some say he was a simple miner, exposed to too much radiation and became slowly corrupted. Some say he was powerful gladiator who could defeat Nova Prime himself. Megatron started the deception with the ambition to destroy the corrupt and evil senate, after that was achieved it went all down hill from there... Starscream: Shockwave Soundwave More to come... Don't want to use lines and spoil any part of the story, gonna wait til I have my final actors picked. Just give me about a minute or two of dialouge or quotes, I just want to get a good understanding of what you sound like. (edit) maybe character bios?
Alright. I'll send you some lines by next Friday. Behind The Voice Actors might also be a good outlet to find some voice actors. From my experience, you can get about 1/3 of your cast from the site.
I do not have a laptop, or one that will record lines, at the time. I can give them to you after Christmas, but no sooner. I am also busy doing my own stop motion. I think if you included the plot, along with how long you expect this to go on, you would get some more auditions on here. People don't like to audition for a story they have little to no knowledge of.
I can possibly try for Optimus (if it's something G1/movieish- which you don't seem to be after) and Wheeljack if it would help, and also add some effects to my voice if needed. Megatron may also be on the table, but is more strenous. PM me if you'd like. I myself am making a project requiring voice actors, so when you cast please send their names to me!
No problem! If your prime sounds g1 (younger cullen) then that will work. But just send whatever you have, I'm not getting that many responses so you might just get the parts.
I want to give Megatron, Soundwave, and Shockwave a shot for the cons Bot wise I want to try Prowl and Ironhide For each character what are you looking for?
