One of my buds did This a while back but he has gotten so busy that he hasn't had time to dedicate to his animations.
Will you do the movie as well or strictly just the cartoon?

 

Sounds very similar to what I do in PS. But I often have to tidy up bits that didn't quite work, fix flaws or adjust image levels, or even distort perspective on multiple layers, so I think PS is probably still my best bet!

I've seen that clip   The movie (or scenes from) has been done by various stop motion animators so I guess I'm kind of holding off it for the moment. Plus we're missing so many key figures. But one day I'd like to do a scene from it...

Absolutely brilliant!

I can't wait till we have enough MP figures released so you can do the entire intro and outro videos.

 

So, I thought I'd picked a nice easy scene to do for my next vid. At the last minute I realised that one shot, near the end, just looks really shoddy in the original cell-animated form (especially when edited in amongst Masterpiece figures):



And that's how I ended up doing this. I already had the model pylons, so that helped. Scratch-built the transformer unit (only one - photographed three times), and happened upon a battered second hand model building and oil silo from a model shop. Also took the opportunity to fix the way the crack moves across the ground (it kind of goes astray in the original).

A ridiculous number of Photoshop layers and more time than I intended to take, but I think the result is worth it!

Thanks folks   Yeah didn't put it in the Gif thread because it isn't particularly interesting on its own, just wanted to share it I guess! And I like to post the occasional WIP stuff for these MP ReAnimated vids.

Hmm sounds like something at your end. As far as I know the gifs are still live (they are hosted on Photobucket which I pay a nominal monthly amount to provide unlimited downloads). Have you changed any of your settings lately?

 

Well, I have a new computer installed with Windows 10, so I'm not sure what it meant by putting on a firefox plug in.
