Hi everyone I'm looking for some actors to voice a few characters in a concept trailer I've made called Transformers Orion. As you might be able to guess, it's essentially an Optimus Prime origin story. The twist is that he ends up as the sort of Optimus whose number one hobby is stealing faces and will scream I'll Kill You at anyone who happens to be passing by when he wakes up in the morning (I guess the alternate title could be "Breaking Bot"). For an idea of what the visual style of the project is going to be, check out the linked videos at the bottom of the post. Anyway, since it's trailer for a hypothetical film none of the roles require a ton of dialogue (Around half a dozen lines per character at the most), and the turnaround time for the finished product should be pretty quick. I've got it fully cut together and only have to tweak a few of the effects shots before it's ready to publish. What this also means is that the performances will need to fit the established timing in the trailer, but I'll provide video edits for each character. So now that the technical stuff is over with, here's the characters I'm looking for: Orion Pax Orion is a lot younger than some other incarnations of Optimus, but he shouldn't sound exactly like the version from Animated either. Orion would have some of the same cadence and delivery as the familiar Peter Cullen version, but is still pretty fresh out of the academy. Megatron Unlike Orion, Megatron doesn't need to resemble any previously existing version of the character. Despite the character getting a more sympathetic backstory in recent years (specifically the Aligned and IDW continuities), the performances of the character haven't really followed through. Megatron is a world-weary revolutionary here, not an outright supervillain. Senator Ratbat Ratbat's been a senator for a long time, and knows how a comment to the right person here or there can have echoes for milennia. He distrusts Cybertron's Police and other Senators implicitly, but sees opportunites in the young officer Orion Pax. Ultra Magnus A veteran of Cybertron's police force, Ultra Magnus has seen senators come and go for thousands of years, but none have held on longer than Ratbat, and that bugs him. Another thorn in his side is Kaon's officer Megatron, who threatens to upset the fragile peace there with his revolutionary politics. After all, the police's job is to uphold the law, not change it.
