Nice yellow eyes. I like the detail for the Takara but already have Hasbro's. Not gonna double dip this chip.

I really like the painted face and yellow eyes.
However, I was hoping for slightly more paint details.
Aside from the chest hole and allspark blue highlights, I don't see any other differences from the hasbro release.

Yeah, as nice as all those extra little paint apps are, they're really not worth what most places are charging for it

One is better off getting the Hasbro version and doing the paint job themselves. See here:

:)  I should have said..... if you live in America and can get the Hasbro version for between 18.00 to 25.00 .... Just get it and apply some paint.

Or if you live in another country and the Has versions is cheaper than the Tak version ..

Most of the takara aoe toys have minor add ones that they are not worth importing.

Good thing the Takara AOE toys are more or less close to the price of the Hasbro ones here in Singapore...

Yes. So very agreed. And if you are MISB collector. Takara's one are no brainer. If you break them out and is good with painting. Then Hasbro one's will help you to save a couple of bucks here and there.

Wow...I'm surprised. Other than the chest and face, Hasbro's apps aren't that much different from Takara's. That's crazy. I've never seen Hasbro get this close to a Takara figure when it comes to a mainline figure. Masterpiece, sure, but mainline? Wow.

^ or Takara is just sucking with the AoE line, which is more likely given their failures like Galvy here.

The Takara version definitely has more detail, but still pretty bland. I think I like my RogueRunner edition better!

I like Stormbringer's repaint even better:

Clearly, neither retail release has the necessary paint app's.
