So I bought a HA Jazz from Ebay and it arrived yesterday. But during transformation I found the shoulders could not bend down as far as they should which means in robot mode the arms are bent back all the time and there is almost no articulation in them.

Is this a construction error? Has anyone had this before? I don't know if HA Jazz is KO'ed, I looked around a bit but couldn't find anything. Any tips on how to fix it? I thought I maybe could unscrew the pin and take off the arm and sand brown the part down a bit so it would fold in as far as it should.
Or as I just mssing something relaly obvious?

Hm, from your pic it would seem they are indeed upside down.

So I guess I could just unscrew, flip it and screw it back on right? I have never done something like that.

Yep, just unscrew them and flip them. Simple.

Yes!!! Just undo the 4 screws holding the under carriage and head on, and simply flip the joints. I bought one the other day and had the exact, EXACT same issue.

As a rule of thumb, you might want to tighten all the screws all over him. Some of mine weren't tight.

    Great to hear!

Yeah, I think you and I got the KO versions. It was sketchy from the beginning as BB and Barricade have been confirmed KOed, but Jazz is a dark horse really. I can't find anything online showing comparisons or even videos of him and his KO version, so I can't say for sure if he has been or not.

More than likely though he has as there are somewhat "signs" pointing to this not being official, but he's good, really good if you can fix some of the issues.

Now... bring on Soundwave and I'll be a happy camper.

Those shoulders were my only issue. Now he looks great and displays great. I don't mind him being a KO. I could do with Soundwave aswell.

That was my only major issue. The only other one was that the screws were not tightened all the way. After I did that his joints were perfect. (they were a tad loose to begin with)

ive just bought one of these, and if it is a KO then its one of the best ive ever seen, it looks and feels like an original, all the plastic seems to be of the same quality as my original HA 'bee....it did have the upside-down shoulders though

I have a Hasbro version and a KO version of this figure. The only difference I found was in the face: The KO version has less details molded in the eyes than the original Hasbro version. Solution: use the visor.

It came in car mode. The flipped arm joint actually works and folds up for car mode fine, you just can't fold the joint out straight in bot mode. Odd I know, but it's actually an simple oversight if you aren't paying attention, because if you didn't take the time to QC it, then you'd really never know they were on upside down till you transformed him.

That said, it's an easy fix. And yes, out of all the HA figures, Jazz is one you definitely need for the collection.
