The rules are that they have to be two Autobots and two Decepticons. Two new molds, two old molds; one being a straight repaint and the other with a new head. They would come with Targetmaster figures. Don't know who the next wave (Powerglide, Windcharger, Bombshell, Thundercracker) are coming with, if any at all. You can swap the Targetmaster figures of the two old molds like Nemesis Prime and Cliffjumper did.

Pipes with Treadbolt
(new mold)
Another Mini-Bot but the only one without any new toys since his creation (except Bumper) and would later be remolded with a new head as Huffer so the robot mode has to be appropriate for both of them. Treadbolt is the final member of the Micromaster Air Patrol to be a Generations Legends Targetmaster. He would be in G1 colors.

Emirate Xaaron with Skater
(head remold from Megatron and Chop Shop)
Xaaron's original design looks very much like Megatron and he was said to transform into a combat tank. Skater is a generic with a name that appears in Target: 2006. I want the Chop Shop mold to stay with Megatron because of the combination in their alternate modes and Skater can pretty much be repainted from any toy.

Kickback with Barrage
(new mold)
Kickback would be the third Insecticon of the original trio and would be based on the original 1985 toy not the new Deluxe. Barrage is another original Deluxe Insecticon. Ransack is similar to Kickback in insect mode so I went with Barrage.

Skywarp with Venin
(straight repaint from Starscream and Waspinator)
The third original seeker just to complete the trio. Venin is in G1 Venom colors who is the same character. Kinda boring I admit but has to be done.

 

I want them to be available in quantity at retail.

 

None. Rather them be at least deluxe sized.

 

Unicron with Dead End

 

I think it would be cool to get an Exosuit. They can just do a swap of Spike and Daniel easily I bet.

Ooh, yeah, I'd be all over a Pipes for my Lost Light crew. That and a Brawn/Outback mould seem like obvious choices for the line.

Erector with Exosuit (breaking the formula of the commander being the focus, instead the focus is on the minicon Erector, nixing the gun mode to improve articulation. the "commander" is his trailer, which tfs into a power loader styled exosuit for him.

Beastbox and Squalktalk (non cassette alt modes for the pair, Squalktalk as a kite shield, Beastbox as a double barreled cannon. the pair retain their combined Squalkbox mode.

(I kinda like the idea of the Recordicons getting some more non cassette alt modes, for some reason I think Ravage would be magnificent as a sniper rifle.)

 

I would be OK with a Brawn out of the Tailgate mold, if they can open up the room available for his head.

 

Why Tailgate? Do you mean Swerve? Gears' head is good enough for Brawn's head.

 

I'm going w/ the OP's picks. At first I was wondering why Xaaron but you explanation put that to rest. If I varied at all I'd just assume see more G1 Autobot Minibots like Brawn, Seaspray, or Beachcomber.

Give the Targetmaster homages to your choice of construction and or aerial based Micromasters because they deserve love too.

 

If Kickback is indeed "confirmed" to be coming after Bombshell, I'll leave him out of this list.

1. Huffer & Pipes, doesn't matter which order they do them in but they should happen.
2. Outback & Brawn, ideally NOT reusing much of the Swerve/Gears molds (reusing the legs might be alright but they should be new from the waist up).
3. Laserbeak & Buzzsaw: Keep the bird-robot mode but with a vehicle alt instead of tape or disc. The GDO "drone jet" design was alright but it is a movie mold.

Mirror W/ Swindle. Mirror would be a new mold who would be the combined form of Rook and Crosswise. Then as Mirror they would transform into a Sideway's like motorbike, kind of like how Skids and Mudflap formed one vehicle in RoTF. Swindle would be a new mold based of Armada Swindle, and would be included more for Gen. Armada Starscream than Mirror, and would have a robot, drag racer, and sword mode base on the Starsaber.

 

Dunno how I could pick just 4 for the future simply because the new legends scale has started to become one my all time favorite lines. Obviously I gotta want the originals the most with other cool stuff woven in between.

Would Love to build a good ole Sharkticon army in this scale.

A new set of the original cassettes in legends scale with re-imagined alt modes would be kinda cool as i see this is the only way i see getting a posable rewind. Ive always liked perfect effects cassette designs in that the turn into weapons and armor instead of tapes.

A reflector 3 pack would be super sweet....the target master isnt enough i tell you!

For the more out there bots, since the minicon assault team exists it would be sweet if we could see the duocons make an appearance

I also the the two clone sets would be relatively easy to pull off at this scale, with minor retooling needed.

- Dogfight with Airazor (new molds) - The G1 Triggerbot as the main figure, the BW Maximal flier as the Targetmaster.

- Pyro with Rotorstorm (repaints) - Pyro is a repaint of the Optimus Prime mold and Rotorstorm is a repaint of Blazemaster. Just intended as a little nod to LSotW.

- Scrounge with Raindance (remolds) - Scrounge is a repaint of the Cosmos mold with a new head. I figure that Scrounge transforms into a wheel and Cosmos alt mode can kind of pass as a wheel if stood on edge. Raindance, who was a photo/videojournalist in his G1 profile, is a repaint of Reflector.

Decepticons

- Windsweeper with Terrorsaur (new molds) - The G1 Triggercon as the main figure, the BW Predacon flier as the Targetmaster

For bonus accuracy, the Xaaron figure should have an additional remold that makes a structurally important piece break if the figure is ever transformed to vehicle mode. That way, just like the original version of Xaaron never transformed into his vehicle form out of concern the strain would kill him, Legends Xaaron can't be transformed into a vehicle without 'killing' the figure.

 

I wish they'd bring back the Scout class.
