So I was boxing up all of my Botcon/TCC stuff... And While transforming OTFCC 2003 Sunstreaker to get back in its box, the paint on the door chipped away (a rather significant chip of paint)... And now I'm sad. I have to get another :cry

Dude I guess so.. Although it may just be Sunstreaker. I have Prowl, Super Prowl, and Sideswipe and they're fine.. I even vigorously rubbed Sideswipe's doors something fierce to make sure it wasn't going to do the same.
I'll probably buy the two of them again and just box them up safely somewhere so I don't freak when something else happens.
And, you know... Same goes for all my other 96-04 stuff. It begins again! All in the name of paranoia!!

I've got a complete FunPub collection minus the custom class figures from 06-11. The struggle to acquire the pre FP stuff is going to be expensive. Fractyl and Packrat are my first hurdle. Can't find anyone willing to trade toward them or sell them for anything resembling my price range. Just lost out on a set tonight that was on the verge.

My FP figures are among many of my favorites of my collection. However, I'm running out of room. From here on, I'm only going to go after the ones I like the most. So far, Megatron is the only boxed set figure I want this year. I plan on getting the General Optimus too, if that's what it is. That means I'm skipping Nova Prime, too. I will keep getting the subscription figures though.

Well I'm glad to know it isn't a widespread thing, but I'll definitely be on my toes with the next pair.

I know your pain. I had everything, but 05, 07, 10, & 11 and had to get rid of most of it. As much as I like the 09 set, I may not recoup that one. It just doesn't have a place. Will definitely pick up 08 & 12 again though, especially since the archive sale from last year brought their prices back down to "somewhat atrocious, but I can live with it" levels.
But 2 years ago I went on the 3H hunt and snagged everything from 96-OTFCC 04 (including the 98 Japan & 02 Europe stuff), finished up last year with the final piece. Botcon Japan 98 Doublepunch. Best of luck on you tracking down the 97 set! If you hang in, you'll get one for a good price :thumb

I feel you on that, too. Although my problem is more or less display space.. Trying to group them all by theme. It's fair to say Botcon 10, 13, 11 TCC Membership figure, ehobby Magnificus, 12 Runamuck/Runabout, & all of FSS 3.0 fit together in the same display, but I display with boxes too, so it's quick running out of room. I just jumbled Astrotrain, Airazor, Cheetor, Punch-Counterpunch, Dion, Nexus Prime FSS 1.0 & FSS 2.0, except Mammoth & Eject in one display and consider them my "Axiom Nexus random residents" and would group Botcon 08, 12, SG Drift, SG Cyclonus, & Ultra Mammoth in a SG/Invasion display. And then there's my lonely BW Uprising shelf. A whopping 4 figures (soon to be 5 once Lio Convoy gets here!)

And then there's my 3H display where I jumbled my Botcon 2014 figures in (I'd argue they TOTALLY fit that universe).
FunPub should start selling me shelving units if they're going to continue shelling out 20 figures a year. Except I think I'm just going to continue buying them all up :drunk

One of my favorite Botcon figures! Too bad I can't remember how to transform him without pictorial reference...

Just got my first Botcon figure this week. It is a Botcon 2010 Slicer. I remember I was actually at the convention and saw somebody with him. I was too late when i tried to get him so it feels good to finally have him.

oh good, I'm glad this thread exists. To this day my favorite Botcon figures are a coin toss between SG Megatron & SG Junkions.

That was basically the last of my semi-grails that I acquired. Those colors look so good on the Scorponok mold!

    I'm digging that little headmaster!

Thanks for the reminder, I need to track down an 05 box set on the cheap! Really want this guy to display next to MP Starsaber! Scale would be a little off, but I'd be okay with that.

Love the SG stuff. Unfortunately I had to get rid of both my 08 & 12 years to continue living with a roof over my head a while back. Definitely going to track them down. "Thrill of the couple thousand dollar hunt" and all... :lol

If they haven't already started mailing them out, then in a week or so, according to the email & update we got about the FSS3.0 figures that will ship soon, too.
I'm actually a little surprised they haven't popped up in folks mailboxes yet. Last year Rampage arrived a few days after Transmutate (I ordered Transmutate the day it went live).

And Lio Convoy satisfies the TCC/Botcon toys itch for another month. Hopefully one of the FSS3.0 figures gets here before Botcon so I can have a double-dose!!
