When transforming into robot mode, be careful when you pull out and flip the center front of the truck. Mine just snapped right off! When that piece rotates and stops at a certain angle against the roof, be VERY careful! The piece is made of clear plastic and, in my experience, isn't easy to glue back together. I had to drive back to a local Walmart to return it and they had no TFs whatsoever (got mine in another state while I was on a weekend trip) so I had to make another trip to a Target and luckily they had a fresh case of voyagers put out. Anyway, the moral of this story is always be careful when transforming your figures and don't force pieces to move!

Someone else too? Third report of this. Use some super glue, it'll be fine.

Before somebody says "hasblow", Takara's release is just as likely to suffer the same problem, because they are all made in the same place.

And both versions have the same plastic colours.

This isn't a Hasbro QC problem, it's a clear plastic problem.

Which demonstrates why we need to come up with a 'clever' insult based on their name. Those bastards don't have an 's' in their name so we can't substitute a $ for it. I got it. Tomy is part of the official name(TakaraTomy). So...TakaraBlowme. :D

TY for the tip... I was planning on swapping out the Platinum chrome piece on my Takara version... I'll be ultra careful on that project...

Dont get me wrong, I love clear windows on my TF cars / trucks...

But when inside the window is a big, flat chunk of undetailed red plastic...

    I wouldnt mind painted windows...

The days of Alternators are gone...

Do we realy need to see inside the guts of a Transformer?

So that would make it a design problem and is still either Hasbro or Takara/Tomy's fault, depending on who actually designed the figure. If clear plastic is such a problem then they should have designed the figure with that in mind.

It's a design problem absolutely. It's just a common problem with clear plastic and not a QC issue. All I was saying.

Is this the flat-nosed Evasion Optimus or the long-nosed other one?

I hope it's not the flat-nosed one because that's really the only figure I definitely want from this line.

The only AOE Voyager is the flat nose. All the others are different size classes (Leader, One Step, etc)

Thanks for the heads-up. I've noticed a stress mark there on my copy already. I'll just have to be extra careful. And maybe pick up a backup copy.

Okay. This line just generally confuses me with all the figures kinda merging together in my mind. With all the sub-lines and different versions of the same character it's just beyond my elderly brain to keep track of what's what.
So I guess I'll just have to keep an eye out for damage to this figure.

Haven't they learned by now not to use transparents for key transformation joints? What is this planned obsolescence?

Guess I'll either buy it and never TF it or just not buy it.

Dammit, my TakTom one is already paid for.

Looks like I won't even bother opening him then.
