These new toys are awesome. Hasbro did a great job.

Here is my appreciation for the new bots

    Grimlock slightly mistransformed and Galvatron.

Got Leaders OP, Grimlock, Crosshairs, Bee, Scorn, and Slug. I can say that all of these sets are awesome, with the exception of Grimlock with all of the chrome issues. OP, Bee, and Crosshairs looks great together!

Still waiting for amazon to ship my Leaders and deluxes, they only shipped out the voyagers.

Would be nice if a small Prime was included with LC Grimlock to ride on. Maybe a 3rd party in the works.

I'll eventually get one of those Evasion Optimus repaints.

Genuinely curious: why? It's part four of the movie series and successor toyline to Dark of the Moon

It needs a containment thread to keep it away from real movie figures.

*bites lip* I'm a redeco away from getting that movieverse galvatron. It's a nice looking mold, but it really needs some color. Not even GEEWUN purple, though that wouldn't be unwelcome, but something to break up the "generice silver bad guy bot" the movieverse keeps doing.

I have only picked up a small set of AoE thus far pre-street date. Voyager Grimlock, Deluxe Slug, and Leader Optimus. Haven't opened Optimus and Voyager Grimlock is pretty nice lacking all the fragile chrome, but I have to say that Slug is one of my new favorite TFs. G1 Slag was one of my first Dinobots too so I might seem a bit biased. The new simplier TF style doesn't make him any less awesome. I can see him being a bitch to transform if he was released during ROTF.

It's just a really cool toy line and I feel that it's worthy of its own appreciation thread.

Thing is though, he's not even a generic silver bad guy bot. He's a "generic grey bad guy bot". Might look pretty cool if he was done up in some nice metallic silver paint...

Okay dude, it's an all the time thing with you now. We get it, you don't like AoE movie figures. Can you maybe tone it down a notch? It's depressing.

I'm doing an experiment for the last movie toy lines. I want wave 2 to be released soon and from what I studied for the past movies they've been out around the time wave 1 was out. However, for other toy lines like Prime or Generations they release 2 to 3 months apart. What to do when it comes to wave 2? Also from the rate of what we know so far AOE might end after wave 3.

I really can't wait till midnight tonight for the official release of all the AOE Goodness, but sadly there is not one spot reset in the toy dept. at my Walmart for anything, and I am afraid they ain't gonna put out any figures here,so I will probably have to wait till tomorrow and go to stores like Target and TRU to get my fix.

And it just kills me that at my local Wally World they seem to be phasing out TF's altogether,as I haven't seen anything new TFwise in about 6-8 months, just a ton of those ConstructBots that ain't going nowhere.I guess Walmart just doesn't care to get peoples money with figures that will fly off the shelf once the movie hits in about a month. Well to that I say its your loss Walmart and its really gonna come back to bite you in the tuckas when your competitors will be getting everybody's money cause your too lazy to put out Hot Items people will surely be looking for.
