If you don't have all the armor parts then it'll sell between $50 and $80, depending on condition. The robot by itself goes as cheap as $30 at times.
Pictures would help us best determine what it is you're actually sitting on as far as true value goes...there are so many variables with the G1 Jetfire toy, it's almost dizzying... How is the paint on the tip of the jet nose? Is there any scraping, or discoloration at the root of the wings? Stickers applied? What are the landing gear like? Missing any of the rear gear doors? Any corrosion on the gear themselves? Do the hinges of the tail section have any cracks? If he is standing in robot mode, and you turn him to look at the back of his legs, is there a color variation in the white paint between the plastic and die cast halves? Any accessories/armor pieces? I just recently got done tracking down my 3rd G1 Jetfire so that I can have one for display MIB, one in robot mode, and one in jet mode...I've never done this for any other toy in my collection...but I have to say...finding one that was not yellowed, and without any major blemishes was a test of my patience. There is so much junk out there in the Jetfire market, it's staggering. Before purchasing my most recent Jetfire, I had to call a friend (another member here who collects G1) to look the figure over for himself to see if I missed anything.
the mold for the figure has been knocked off quite a bit COLLECT 'em ALL: Replica 1/55 VF-1S DSC00392 G1 Jetfire Robotech Valkyrie Macross.jpg, Jetfire, G1, Transformers KnockOff KO, Action Figure Checklist Photos SP Review 35: Galaxy Defender - Variable Cyberbot (Happy Well's Valkyrie)) Knock Off Valk - Toys - Macross World Forums
When someone is worried that a G1 toy has been KO'd, I usually take that to mean that they're worrying that it was one of those Zhong Jin fakes that are made specifically to clone the original down to the exact detail, even with the packaging. No one is going to mistake those other toys for an authentic Jetfire.
Hey, I am new here . I know this is an old thread, but I am very curious to find out. I have this G1 Jetfire Masushiro version MIB with the printed UN Spacey logo. I was wondering whether anyone who collects G1 or Jetfires knows the value of this now as I remembered paying quite a bomb for it couple of years back. Is MIB complete with used sticker sheet, instructions etc. Figure is c7-c8 with some sticker, paint and chrome wear. Box would rate around C6.5 to C7. Jetfire is still bone-white
