Good god that's a crazy collection. Some of those figures you could have gotten a good deal of money at the height of its demand. Like the Generations/Reveal the Shield Windcharger...those retail for about $8 each but at one point was going for about $40 each. Now? Maybe $20. Looks like your dad had a few of those. I guess he knew those were in high demand so bought a few.

Just a suggestion. Why not sell everything else EXCEPT the black zarak? Looking at that stuff you posted, it seems that black zarak was the crowning achievement of his collection. Better to honor his memory and maybe even pass it down someday then to cash in quick and regret it later when looking back at life.

I have to agree with this. That BZ simply stunning. His value, as long as he don't break, is going NO WHERE fast. He was probably the pride of your dads collection possibly even his "grail" piece. Though, I can understand if you do decide to sell him and give another collector the opportunity to love it as much as I'm sure your father did.

So sorry to hear about your dad, but I'll echo everyone else in here and say the collection looks great. He's got an awesome variety from all over the timeline of the series.

I would have to disagree. The OP is definitely not a collector and any other piece in that pile would have the same meaning for her and be a great memento for her father. Why risk have the only thing left (after she disposes of the rest) suddenly break 5-10 years down the line, and the only remembrance of her father's collection be a broken toy? She's better off selling the thing and keeping something else for herself.

After all, after the "scammer" responses, the next posts were "holy shit, sell that now before it turns to dust!"

I think you're right. My father had a great record collection, but none of us played any of the albums after his passing. We had (and have) many other things to remember him by, and sold the records to people who appreciated them more. What is more, the money helped my mother finance some of the things she needed at the time.

I agree Sell the black Zarak if any thing it should be sold first as to get it out of your hands and make the risk of GPS some one else's problem.

That said any one buying a Black Zarak will know and be prepared to accept the risk of GPS.
