I've got some stuff on pre-order on BBTS, so that will come to somewhere around €90 shipped already this month, although I suppose only €40 of that is mine.

I actually don't see myself buying much this year aside from that lot. Hoist, Sandstorm, Swerve and Tailgate are the only things that come to mind.

I'm gonna keep all my shit together in post #16, but after going through everything for 2013 it concludes with...

    £2420.15, around $3,991.80 USD.

Which is a lot. I believe it's missing a couple of things, as well as the MP Wheeljack preorder that was made in... October or November. I'll just include that in my 2014 roundup. In all though £2500 is probably right on the money.

    As it were.

Let's see what 2014 will bring.

Well there's $10 in limbo at the moment. BBTS's preorders for dreadwing still say they'll arrive in december...

Hmm, not sure if I'll keep this up but so far I've only spent £42 this month on Kreon stuff.

Really should get rid of my old bot shots as the novelty wore off for me, can we count sales as negative expenditure? ;)

    January: £237

I spent $1761 last year on Transformers in 2013. My goal this year is to spend less than half that. I spent a lot to bring my collection up to right where I wanted it to be, so I shouldn't spend that much this year. So, my goal is to keep it under $880. Unfortunately, my first purchase looks to be Quakewave, so that will eat up a sizable percentage of that early in the year. I have Voyager Whirl, Generations Skywarp, MP Wheeljack, and MP Bumblebee on Pre-Order. I'm planning on getting Legends Cosmos and hoping MP Ultra Magnus will be the big MP this Christmas at TRU. So, just what I'm planning to get will cost $500, so that only leaves me less than $400 for stuff that isn't announced yet. Looks like keeping it under my goal will be pretty tough.

I spent a little over $1K in 2013 (not including comics), so my goal is to spend half that this year. Even though I stopped collecting 3rd Party toys, with the way Generations and Masterpieces are looking this willl be tough. So far I plan on buying:

    MP Wheeljack
    MP Bumblebee
    Generations Whirl
    Generations Waspinator
    Generations Scoop
    Generations Rattrap
Generations Legends Swerve, Cosmos, Tailgate and Sharpshot

That's roughly $220 already, and once the repaints of these molds are revealed like Gears I'm sure I'll scoop them up as well. Hopefully I can resist MP Star Saber and Ultra Magnus until next year, but we'll see how that goes.

I know I missed a few purchases throughout 2013, but nothing huge. So in total ... I spent $6,000+ last year, which includes BotCon registration and other non-Transformers collectibles.

That number will be cut down drastically this year.

I spent way too much in 2013 although I sold some stuff that amounted to around 1300 USD to offset the tally. For 2014, I am planning to spend 2500 with a buffer of 500 (but only for Planet X Dinobots, if those don't come out, then well the 500 will not be spent).

I'm thinking probably somewhere around 10 to 15 grand, easily .. I usually allow myself to spend $200 a week, sometime more if I get a lot of overtime or sell a bunch of stuff on Ebay. this past year I probably spent like $15-20 grand cuz it was my first year getting back into it and I sold a lot of the stuff I used to collect to fund it... I did acquire about 350 TF's since last February, so not too shabby.

Spent WAY too much last year, mostly on custom work. I'd guess upwards of 5k (a good chunk of which was made by selling previously purchased TF's).

With my focus narrowing to MP, 3P in line w/ MP, Optimus figs, and show accurate BW, I anticipate a MUCH lower expenditure.

    Current schedules purchases:
    MP Wheeljack
    MP Bumblebee
    Custom Waspinator
    Custom Rhinox
    Rattrap
    MP Soundblaster w/ Ratbat
    Cubex Huff
    Scoria
    MP Magnus

We'll just have to see what gets added to the release schedule! Oh, and I'm in for any further FP headmasters - assuming Mindwipe and Skullcruncher hit retail next year.

More than I should, less than I want to. Somewhere in that zone sounds about right.

That's interesting. Most of us will spend more than we want to.

    $200 a week?!
I wouldn't have thought that was possible!
