That scorponok is gigantic! a very good group shot especially of Weirdwolf and Mindwipe in mid-air. Also loved that shot of Arcee running away from Scorponok too

Also, I have been gathering my seekers for a large photoshoot and just love the finish on the MP-03 repaints.

The molds may be slightly nicer on the MP-11 Seekers but I really think I prefer the MP-03 Seekers, Takara Starscream aside (who decided that color was a good idea?). I definitely prefer MP-06 over the recent Skywarp.

 

I actually want the MP-03 Greenscream. It's just the prices are what's keeping me from getting one.

 

Shoji Kawamori, the designer. He's a huge fan of military fighter craft in general, and thought the accuracy of a 1:60 McDonnell Douglas F-15 Strike Eagle would be compromised by Starscream's bright cartoon colors. Instead, he decided on a color scheme that reflected the real-world aircraft, but still provided an attractive robot mode as well.



Obviously, the mandate for the Masterpiece series was still up in the air at that point; MP-2, after all, was a white Optimus they called Ultra Magnus (and looked nothing like the cartoon character). The subsequent Skywarp and Thundercracker repaints didn't match the cartoon colors, either.

In fact, it wasn't until MP-8 (Grimlock) that TakaraTomy started focusing primarily on the Sunbow animation models...

 

i love my greenscream, but it was also my first modern transformer.
