Thanks for the info! I'll be sure to check the stores and keep everything up to date after that week passes.

    Thanks!

Transformers are going to be in the weekly circular the week of September 29! Very likely this means SALE!! It may also mean the stores will bulk up on inventory, so if you've had trouble finding the latest waves, stalk your Targets that week!

I wish that were true today. Still the same junk at my most local one, and the other one I go to has the same lonely single FoC OP.

And is it just me or has the DPCI checker online not been working at all?

Yeah, you're not kidding. My local Target hasn't seen anything new either. Of course, the sale isn't that great. The Predacons Rising Optimus/Predaking Cyberverse set is the only one at a significant markdown.

Been meaning to say, this thing has a set date the week of October 6.

Cool. I'll be back on the 7th, within a few days of that I'll check for all the new stuff (if any) and update the full list.

    Thanks for the help, guys!

I noticed that too, but figured since I'm in Spain at the moment, it might be me. It tends to break every now and again for a week or so, you can also punch in the DPCI #s at the in-store scanners or use it when you call the store as well.

The online DPCI lookup hasn't been working for me since at least last week.

It's getting more difficult to punch in the DPCIs on the scanners in the stores now. Most of them here have upgraded to touchscreen scanners which don't have the vertical row of numeric buttons down the right side anymore. Instead it has 4 unmarked buttons in a horizontal row on the bottom. On some of them, you can push the rightmost button to activate the touchscreen numeric keypad and type in a DPCI. But that only works on one of the scanners throughout my entire local store. The rest seem to have locked out that feature. Luckily it's the one near the toy department. I've been in other Targets where every single scanner is locked out. So you would need to have the actual UPC or price tag to scan. That won't work for brand new items not out yet, unless you can print a UPC off the internet. Of course you can ask at customer service, but that just adds more layers where the employees can try to block you from getting something because you're a "sleazy collector" type.

One minor point to add to what you're saying:

Those scanners can scan a barcode off my iPhone (4S) and will presumably scan from other phones as well. I've had success with a picture of a product's barcode AND by saving the jpg from a site like UPC Database: where you can key in any number and make a barcode for it (then save the jpg and email it to your phone).

Also the lookup on target's website still works, but they have to have something under that DPCI listed on the site, then you can search from the product page.

Ok I've updated the first post with the Constructabots Predaking. As others have noted, the online checking appears to be wonky at best, mostly down for the moment. You can still use the instore scanners or call with DCPIs for the time being.

They're not released yet, but once they are I'll add them in the second post. I checked my disto's website, they don't have the UPCs listed. If someone can find a UPC I can use it to look up the DPCI at Target.
