I would have to flip it or mirror it and it looks closer than what I've currently got, as far as the Thundercracker if you are up for it I would appreciate it. I don't know when I will be able to get my photo setup; set up?

The next two weeks are going to be very busy for me but I will do my best to update the list with any photos you take.

    fucking EPIC!

Let me know if you need some help. I can take some shots starting next week if you need them.

I would love to see an alternate one of these with the 3rd Party stuff in here as well.

You know, looking at this, as a completely separate thought, it really shows what a brilliant line that first year of Transformers was. That is a solid and varied set of toys. Good guys = strength in numbers, with affordable mini-cars, mid-range model-esque cars, and one larger leader that includes a "base." Bad guys = smaller numbers, but focusing on either overwhelming firepower or infiltration, again ranging from small cheap bots up to larger figures that have a role play aspect.

It's really a smart, balanced assortment... on top of the basic "toy cars meets toy robots" surefire concept, you have multiple price points + first playset + role play. It's no wonder the franchise was a hit.

I assume you mean the coneheads and Shockwave? Yes, you provide the pictures I will make the list. It would give me a reason to post the '85 list.

This is great but I think the cut-off at MP-10+ is arbitrary. You can ignore MP-01 and MP-03 repaints but I would include Megatron, Grimlock and Hot Rod.

I disagree. I don't consider MP-05 part of the line anymore because it doesn't conform to the line's vision. There are new guidelines of scale and aesthetics to which the figures should conform. MP-05 fails on both fronts.

While I love MP-08, I have to exclude him as well for consistency's sake. Aesthetically he's fine but he is out of scale, even if I think he works well enough.

Start with MP-10 or, if you must, MP-09, and go forward. Those are the figures we should be focusing on.

...Oh, and this is truly outstanding, Trailbreaker. It will be fantastic when you can fill it all in.

Wouldn't it make more sense in a project like this to include Megatron and Skywarp, and replace the images if they make new versions?

As much as some people want to argue against it, there are legitimate versions of Megatron and Skywarp out there. They are official Masterpieces We may not another version of them.

I consider MP-09 the start of the new line. He's on the MP-10 box and scales perfectly with every figure made after it. Whether it was intended or an accident I don't know. When(if) UM and Galvatron MP are announced people are going to go nuts over MP-09.

I wouldn't say MORE sense but yes you do have a valid point. Can you help find some pictures that would match up with the original list?

Now that I see what you're doing, I think it's great.

You should do your own spin on this honestly. There are obviously not nearly enough characters in Masterpiece to fill out that catalog and it'd take Takara years to get there.

Include Red Alert, Megatron, and Skywarp just so you don't have quite so much empty space.

I do not agree that third party should be on there.

i'll send you the thundercracker shot tomorrow. not a problem,

mp-10 on makes the most sense since it's a reboot there, mp-05 and 6 don't belong

You need to put Skywarp on the image. He was released in the US. I'd probably include Megatron as well since he has a MP figure.
