Hi Blue Meanie, the Lio is an 80 (Box 80, Window 85, Figure 90). I love it though, not looking to part with it.

In fact, really should have been clearer in my post. The pic was more to share with the group here before the collection gets broken up =(

I'm keeping most of them. The ones I'm looking to sell (later on eBay):
    AFA80 Megatron Pre-rub
    AFA85 Pepsi Optimus Prime
    AFA80 Smokescreen (Chinese-reissue)
    AFA75 Soundblaster D-101
Prowl (MOSC in an opened box)
    AFA85 Ultra Magnus
    AFA70 Ravage & Rumble

No prices though, I think I'll most likely put them on auction and let them run to the end to be fair to all potential buyers. So many of you have been such good friends and help over the years with my collection, so last thing I want is to create any issues.

    Thank you Zouling, well noted.

A couple of items (Prowl MOSC, Ravage/Rumble, Smokescreen and a Saint Seiya Gold Saint Sagittarius) are on now via my username (just search yecherubs).

Unfort the remaining higher end ones will have to wait because apparently I have a selling limit (!). Blame eBay as I'm not on it very often so it takes time to get the selling limit up.

Hey guys. I wanted your opinion. How much does a bow in the bubble of a figure package affect the score. Could I still get a 80/85?

Looking to get these 2 graded.

I had some questions about Soundwave cassette variants and was curious if anyone here had definite answers. I posted this in the G1 Appreciation thread as well, but I figure y'all might have more boxed samples to check:
    1. The first plastic toes Frenzy (blue) that still has the shin stickers, did that originally come partnered with Laserbeak? I've seen mentions of the metal toes to plastic toes transition happening in mid 1985, so it would have to, right?
    2. Did any of this variant of Frenzy (plastic toes with shin stickers) come partnered with Ratbat? Or did Ratbat always come with the version of Frenzy without the shin stickers?
    3. Did the gold to silver weapons transition with Ratbat come with the Japan to Macau move? Or did the transition to silver happen before or after?
Does anyone have MOSC samples that could confirm? Or copies they're the original owner of that haven't been mixed in with replacement parts?

I had a bunch of questions about grading. One of the board moderators pointed me to this thread:

Is anybody getting their modern figures graded - Studio Series 86, War For Cybertron, even Cyberverse?

Some of these figures seem to be ones that I'd love to display and keep as long term historical artifacts/piece of pop-art. I'd love to keep some of the Kingdom figures and the Quintesson Pit of Judgement, for example, as mint/pristine pieces of art. Is that crazy? Will AFA grade new figures like that? Is the process too expensive to be worth it?

Also, for figures that I don't want to put through the process, is anybody actually selling acrylic cases for the angled box shape?

Is there any value in getting a figure like Siege Sky Lynx graded? His box is a masterwork of art? If it's sealed, how does AFA grade it? How do they know what the figure is like inside?

I don't know - I've never done grading before. Just been thinking about it the last day or two.

Wow!!! if I may I ask how much did it cost you to have this graded? I was looking at the tiers and not sure which one it falls under (A-MC5-A $340 or A-MC5-1 $220).

I'm considering having my Brave Maximus graded cause by this time, I have no plans of ever opening it.

    Thank you!

    Hey team!
Just looking for some informed advice...
Had this AFA 75 Swerve come in to the shop the other day, and I'm having a heck of a time coming up with a fair price.
We generally price our vintage stuff a bit under market since it doesn't do us any good to have it sit... the only way I know how to look for this stuff is Ebay sold listings, and I'm not seeing much.
    I'd appreciate any input.
