Has anybody had any experience contacting Anime Export? I've tried to use email and site messaging to get at them. But, I have had no luck getting a response.
^ I wonder if they answer their Facebook page? I might try that way. Man, I hate shops that don't answer back!
Maybe we both replied to one of their emails which they don't reply to? I replied to one of their automated messages iirc.
I replied to one of those emails, sent a new email, and also sent them a message using their website (x2). I keep hearing they are good to deal with, but I'm not a fan of their communication (unless there is a preferred mode of communication they use, that we are overlooking?) so far!
reviving an old topic but HAS ANYONE EVER BEEN ABLE TO CONTACT ANIME EXPORT about any preorder already placed and PAID for and get get a repsonse? WTF!? I've tried 3 times in 4 weeks (allowing sufficient time to respond each time) and no dice. i've even tried during their office hours (night time for me).
bump. 5 messages sent via there contact us website. no response. i'll be bumping this daily until i get a reply or until everybody on tfw knows that they are irresponsive.
Just saw this thread, I emailed last week in regards to shipping costs on an item they responded in less than 12 hours. Got their contact info through the site. Sorry to hear of the lack of response, hope they respond soon.
Quite often their responses get sent automatically to my trash folder. Check that rather than your inbox?
Never asked them about my preorders but I got a response within 24 hours when I asked them if they would be stocking Tigertrack. Hope you hear from them.
yup checked my spam and trash folders....no reply. its concerning beause i have TONS of stuff preordered with them right now too.
Ao after my last post here (on august 30th to be exact), I got a reply from Erika Sato of anime-export. She worked with me through a couple/few emails over the past 2 weeks or so but has since stopped replying (to my last 3 emails there was no reply). I need resolution so I am bumping this thread now yet again. ugh... Being that I have on order (preorder but prepaid) several hundrds of dollars or toys with them, you'd think i get at least some level of service. resuming daily-ish bumps of this thread now.
Check your preorder is actually in their system. Only time I ever tried to use them my preorder vanished from their system come release time, despite having paid and received a confirmation, and I had to badger them for weeks to get a refund.
i've been trying to cancel a preorder for the past almost 2 months...the thing is about to come out so i'm a little concerned here to say the least. she hasn't been able to address whether i can cancel it or do any such similar course of action. the only thing she has been able to do is connect my web submitted contact us form to me the user, and find out what order I was talking about (nevermind i include the order number each time) and once again confirm she has no idea what it would cost to ship (which i knew she woudln't be able to anyway). Its annoying as hell. also you can't exactly post to their fb wall and complain either. absolute horesh1t. wonder what sites they advertise on. i don't think they adverise here...maybe i should find some sites they sponsor and raise hell there. that being said i don't want to burn the bridge too much....like i said i have preorders with them for tons of stuff that i woudln't be able to preorder again at this point because preorders for those items are sold out by now everywhere.
Looks like I'm in the same runaround boat with them. I paid for my shipping yet the page still says shipping not paid. I keep on emailing them and they ask me "what's the paypal transaction ID" and I send it yet no response back. Now they are saying their site had trouble acknowledging paypal payments on 9/27. All I want is Prowl to ship! =(
I know people that order from them. I was going to give them a whirl, but the whole shipping bullshit pisses me off and trying to find the "info" in their FAQ is useless. Prices are great, but get a real website, sort out the shipping stuff and then come to play. There should be no extra work involved to order anything.
