I'm still searching high & low for coin to go with my MP Soundblaster.

 

Anyone here familiar with 2 sided printing? I'm trying to print some masterpiece cards and I don't know where to start. I know my printer supports 2 sided printing but not sure how to do it.

 

Can anyone verify if this is true? Any ideas the source of this news / rumor?

Reason I am concerned is because the next few MPs in the pipeline like Inferno and Grapple, most online stores don't list them with coin. Instead it comes with a unknown free free gift.

Any info on this will be appreciated

Coins are going away, there will be a few more that trickle out but for the most part they are done.

 

Anyone have MP-5G and/or MP-10 "BAPE red camo version" (the KO is fine) and can post high rez scans of the cards? I'm trying to do a display of all the cards and they're the only MP cards I don't have/can't find suitable scans of.

 

You might have to set up a 2-page document, such as a PDF.

Or more manual, if you print in the exact same area of the paper you could run the paper through the printer twice. Just know which side of the paper is up inside the paper tray. If you're not sure, use a pencil and mark the paper then run a test sheet through.

 

We can expect the Takara coneheads to not include coins at all. Why exactly is Takara doing away with coins?

 

Thanks, I might look into the PDF thing, the flipping the paper over manually thing won't work because it'll print both sides of the card on the opposite side of the paper.

 

Yea Ramjet didn't have a coin so the other coneheads will not either, and it's not Takara's decision it's Hasbro Asia decision as they are responsible for the coins.

MP-14+ Anime Red Alert came with a coin. Just ordered one from BBTS. That make him the last to come with a coin from the MP line?

Probably the last. MP Inferno and Grapple dont seem to come with coins. Shame really, but not much can be done really.

So, with Inferno, I have to say that I'm underwhelmed by the bonus figure. I REALLY like the coins a lot more. Gonna miss 'em.

 

Yea really sucks that they changed things up, I have about 10 coin stands that will never be used.

 

I would have rather seen Takara use resources spent producing the bonus figure to add more die cast, chrome roof horns, articulated index finger, and rubber tires to Inferno.

 

The production of either the coins or the figures have zero impact on the production budget of the actual figures.

In short, they're truly bonus items.

 

Yep, that's why the Takara releases in Japan do not come with the coins or diecast figures. They are a Hasbro Asia bonus feature for markets outside of Japan.
